$260k can make someone a millionaire depending on the country of residence (in the third world by your example) converting that amount to that countries currency is a lot of money,  now the problem is not just being poor and can not afford to invest as little as $10, it is about the perception of such people that will determine their future.

This amount is quite large in some EU countries, and for me, it means that I am a millionaire in my national currency and that I can buy a solid apartment/house and car, and that I still have money left. Yet here we are talking about 6+ BTC, and all of this could have been accomplished if someone had just invested $10 a week for 8 years - so some spend more than that a week on coffee and cigarettes.


People will always complain, it is in the nature of their behavior no matter how much wealth they have or do not have at all. The poor man regrets the missed opportunities that could have brought him a better life, and the rich man that he missed an opportunity that could have brought him another million or a billion (although he does not need them in life).

Would be always part of human nature on having that kind of behavior on which there would be always a reason on things that they are currently dealing off with and if they do missed out some golden train
opportunities then they do keep whining and telling that they should have done it on the past but well we do know that past is past and you cant turn back time which its is called better luck next time.

The comment made me smile , it is absolutely true, there are many people that come to the forum asking if it is too late, or saying they are sorry they did not get earlier in the train or asking if this is fair and if it should be different. The fact is that it is never too late, but there is nothing anyone can do for you if you do not have the right mindset about the whole crypto thing. This is not gold raining.

Actually if everyone is willing to take the time to learn cryptocurrency properly, there should be no hesitation in investing in crypto.

there are many people who regret not buying Bitcoin or other altcoins or assets when the price was still low and now it's being very pumped in.

Some investors are becoming interested only to invest in Bitcoin when the price is already increasing. They think its safer to engage themselves since the price is already recovering. However they dont know that the best time to buy is during the dip wherein the price is much cheaper. To be honest I don't understand what does people need to read and learn about crypto besides they learn how it's work, which blockchain the coin use, what use cases, roadmap, etc. It's pretty much about speculating, which investors doesn't need to learn that since they can invest whatever they want. AFAIK there's no school has crypto subject yet, but in some university already have it. To learn crypto they don't really need to get to university, you can learn yourself... like in this forum.

People won't buy I am very sure about this. The common folks always trust what goes around in the social media and news and news currently is that we have entered the sad phase of the crypto market which means you are going to see bearishness all around, only the smart money sees such a time as a buying opportunity all others would feel this is a trap we are going further low and this cycle would endlessly continue for them. But I would personally suggest everyone to take atleast one position in this bear market maybe just 20% of your portfolio so that even if you are wrong you make some money for yourself and if you are right you still get a lot of chances to average out yourself.

And the same people who buys now and watches the market take further dip will be back here saying crypto currencies are a scam made for making the rich people more rich. New investors shouldn't jump in when they see a dip. They should first learn how the market works. They should know that the market is very volatile and unpredictable. They should know all the risks associated with it. And the most important thing is that they should keep this in mind that they won't get rich over night. They should only invest what they can afford to lose (they don't lose anything as long as they don't sell) and hold for long term to make some good profit with least amount of risk.

People complaining about price should adopt a regular investment strategy so they are less controlled by swings in the market.   So long as the underlying asset you are buying is still valid the lower price isnt really a reason to be feeling negative on it.   Problem is alot only care about the price and the interest is only skin deep so its easy to get scared without greater depth of involvement then that.
   Could flip it the other way and consider that Dollar though feared at present to rise in value is drastically challenged by ongoing overly easy central bank policy, despite current talk this isnt changing for years if ever.

Indeed investing in Bitcoin for the long term is the right decision,
but indeed it is not an easy thing either because investing long term means we have to have high patience,
