This sale through Binance NFT will include a 33% discount on small totems and 50% off large totem discounts.
ADBLOK — What revenue could my NFT generate?
Totems will be located in 5 areas on each floor. The ad tokems can contain video or static imagery from global advertisers. Ads will be served by Bloktopia’s media partner Anzu, a huge in game advertiser with investors including WPP and Sony. Anzu take a fee of the advertising budget, and revenue is generated by impressions. The biggest advertisers in the world will have the opportunity to advertise within Bloktopia, including brands such as: Proctor & Gamble, Loreal, Amazon, Samsung amongst many others.
The higher the daily active users (DAU) within the Bloktopia metaverse, the more revenue will be generated from the impressions that brands pay for when they advertise on the totems within Bloktopia.
What are impressions? In Bloktopia, advertising impressions for each advert will be classed as two seconds of dwell time on daily active users, multiplied by average session time and ad opportunities per minute, to give a daily ad opportunities figure. A fill time is then taken into consideration and that gives a daily impressions figure per advert.
So what can I earn?
To put that into an example, the large advertising totem on Level 1 is made up of 100 x ADBLOK.
BLOKTOPIA Large ADBLOK Level 1 — Purchase Price is 3million $BLOK per NFT. This has been discounted, by 50% meaning that today’s sale price is $44,999 on Binance NFT.
If this totem were to receive 190k daily impressions, 1x NFT would receive roughly a 10% return per annum for the holder. This figure isn’t guaranteed, it will of course fluctuate based on the amount of impressions, and could be much lower or higher depending on how many people visit Bloktopia.
Bloktopia is building an infrastructure whereby eventually millions of people will be able to enter. Roblox has 43m DAU, and Bloktopia has ambitions on this scale. Everyone building a metaverse can only move as fast as the tech will allow them, so there will be a ramp up. But over time the return from an ADBLOK is expected to grow significantly.
On top of the guaranteed revenue, each ADBLOK could also appreciate in value the same way that any NFT could.
The Binance NFT sale
The ADBLOK NFTs which are being sold today are from the premium Levels, 1 & 6 — where the most footfall is expected due to the architecture of Bloktopia. There are 4 small totems and 1 large totem on each floor.
As $BLOK is not a currency which can be used on the Binance NFT Marketplace yet, a mechanism has been created whereby the total amount of capital raised from the NFT sales on Binance will be matched by a purchase in $BLOK by Bloktopia from the circulating supply, and locked away. 50% will subsequently by locked for two years and 50% will be burnt.
