If passphrase in BIP39 standard, Why there are only few wallets support passphrase?(Trezor, Ladger, Safepal)
Some wallet should not be used. If you need passphrase along while generating keys and addresses on a wallet, then use a wallet that supports it. I recommend Electrum, but it is not a BIP39 wallet. You can import BIP39 seed phrase on Electrum but you can not import Electrum seed phrase on BIP39 wallets. You can download it from
https://electrum.org and
verify its signature. You mean if passphrase comes with BIP39 why only few wallets support it? Would you mind telling us which wallets do support BIP39, but they don't have the passphrase option?
I remembered I have used some before, not one. I have just downloaded Atomic wallet now which I remember among them, not supporting passphrase, even I do not think blockchain.com wallet support passphrase.
@wytwyt01, even aside passphrase, most wallets are close source, most do not give the required features needed in a wallet, I have prefer Electrum among all.
The passphrase on Electrum is known as the extended word (extend word).
