Am I late to the party??

You are very fortunate to have entered this crypto space so early. Many, unfortunately, discovered cryptocurrencies much later (, and some will yet discover them). Perhaps this is also a generational issue. As an example, I first learned about crypto during the 2017/2018 bull run. However, I passed up the idea of investing at the time because I deemed it too late. Well, we all know how that ended.

That's the thing, I don't think that it's too late even if you started buying Bitcoin now. I mean, who would have said at the beginning of 2017 that BTC will make x20 by the end of the year? I don't remember any sort of predictions like that, and as I said, many told me that's probably too late to buy BTC now, and even I was kinda suspicious but then remembered how I thought the same  first time i heard about it, back in late 2013.

There is an old Chinese saying "The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now." I think the same philosophy applies to the current crypto market.

Exactly! What I advice all people that are just getting into crypto is DCA into BTC, buying as much as they can, when they can, instead getting upset that they can't buy one whole Bitcoin and then focusing on shitcoins.

The best and only option for someone who actually believes in Bitcoin is to garner more knowledge about the network so as to steady themselves whilst they invest, Bitcoin investment can be a really tricky one, with all the correction phases it leaves many people wrongly regretting why they had invested in the first place, thus what you should do is to go back in time (history), and study more about its price, development and other whatnots.

Having said that, I wouldn't call it a "party" of any sort, it kinda makes it sound like a "get rich quick" thing, which it is not, I'm afraid I must add this, if you have the mindset of basically just coming into the network to make quick profits, then you had better not come in the first place, Bitcoin is a long term project, and it requires a strong amount of patience, it doesn't matter when you join, what matters is that you understand just exactly what the network is all about and what it offers its users that has made them stay this long in the network and wanting to stay even longer.

If you think you are late to the party then that's okay but what about the ones who didn't know the party?. I'm sure you would know the answer so if you ask me thenmy answer would be, It's better being later than never. Though you may be late in previous trends, bear market or Increase of the crypto price but you still have another chance to join either of it in the future like the ATH price. To be honest, I didn't get chance to join when bitcoin reached an ATH before but I did experience when the new ATH happened.

You're too late yet but still have room to get in, so enjoy the party as we are leaving now.

Anyhow, people had to think about getting late is somewhat just dragging themselves out from here. For as long as this is open that simply means that we still have the chance to get inside and start. Nothing has said you're late, maybe too early as this investment doesn't just matter who comes first and who comes late but this is all matter on how we work on it. As if you can manage it well that gives the possibility that you ear more than those people who come earlier than yours.

You're a bit late as most people have said and you made a big mistake  to have ignored crypto from it scratch if you had a privilege to know bout it when it started but you're  not too late to start somewhere... I remember  when a similar  post was made in the forum and made the topic as "the boat left me behind " or something similar  to that,  can't remember  Vividly
It isn't  too late to start running some few faucets, HODling BTC or also buying some few sats now when it's  buyable  and sell at the ATH, you can still make piles of coins from Altcoins this days so you're  not too late.
Keeping  this information  at heart will only worsen everything  as they'll  come a time most altcoins  won't  be buyable...

It's never too late, that's all. LOL
Such an assumption is indeed justified considering how bitcoin managed to hit ATH in November last year. However, it was not recommended for anyone to enter the party if they were not brave enough to weigh the risks.

I think anyone can buy bitcoin and hold them safely in a wallet. They can buy bitcoin without analysis if they really make bitcoin their future investment like gold. Obviously they have to do it with risk but if they invest with money they can afford to lose then I think they will stay safe. So we really didn't miss the party, but we really missed the chance to buy it while the price was still in the $5K-$10K range.

Everyone here ^{with the exception of the very early adopters} have been
late to the party in relation to any moment in the past. I got in in 2017 but knew about
Bitcoin a number of years earlier.

I have told a few people about it this year and they still havent made the move,
I guess they might in a few years look back and say "we missed the party"

Sometimes we always feel too late to do something. I've also felt that way why I just got to know crypto in 2017, not from before.
This is natural. But if we are already here, there is no need to regret it, everything has happened. What we need to do is how now, not before entering the crypto industry.
As long as we can take advantage of this golden opportunity, we will use it as best we can.
Instead of knowing crypto from the start but just watching it.
It's better to get involved, learn, and also collect money from crypto.
Because we know crypto business has diverse income fields. Not only about trading and investing but also various other things that can bring in money as long as we want to learn and try.

Even those who started trading from 2016, have the same feeling of knowing about bitcoin in in 2016 was too late.  Many regret still for spending the huge amount of Bitcoin earned when the price was too low below $7000. I bought many best token which are not top currencies with high price. But I have sold it and now feel bad for it. But nothing can be done as situations made us to do so.
