Hello Everyone,

I am very new to bitcoin, for educational purpose I was reading about Bitcoins on bitcoin.org.

To try, I downloaded the  Bitcoin Core version v22.0.0 Software for Windows 10 8GB RAM. Downloading 7 years of data. I found that we can mine using this command on the console: "generatetoaddress".

Could you please share with me what is the basics and how to mine on Bitcoin Core software? please share with me any links or articles about it.

Thank you.

PS: I am mining on my PC to know how it works, how can I mine and how much by doing. I just need resources or a guide.

TL/DR Summary:
 - You CANNOT meaningfully mine bitcoin with your PC or laptop no matter how powerful it is.
 - You CANNOT meaningfully mine bitcoin with your tablet or phone no matter how powerful it is.
 - Mining apps for your phone or tablet that claim to mine bitcoin are almost certainly scams.
 - You CANNOT find software here to mine bitcoin with your PC by itself.
 - You MIGHT be able to do one of the above with altcoins, but such discussion goes into the altcoin mining section.
 - You CANNOT find or post software here to mine on other peoples' PC without their permission.

It was all in the sticky post you could have been reading before posting.

Before you can able to mine BTC with a PC but right now it won't.
If you want to mine BTC you will need ASIC machines like Antminer s9 it's simple and easy to set up if you have them.

Read this "First time/Small miner reference for getting started." now if you decided to continue and want to mine BTC you can buy them directly on manufacturer's or verified distributor check this list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5045732.0

About setup or how to configure your own miner, I think you can check this profile https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=348185 under his signature you can find all guides/reviews you can use them as a reference depending on what ASIC machine you bought.
