I have been actively trading since early 2021. I was introduced by a friend "bounty hunter" about bitcoin and I was interested in knowing many things including how it works, trading and invest.

I admit that the first cryptocurrency I bought was bitcoin. I bought it 50% of the capital I had and sold it at the peak of ATH April. Subsequently I managed to buy bitcoin 80% of the total previous profit on the decline and resell them in November. During the 2021 ATH cycle I managed to make a total profit of $12,000 with bitcoin. It actually changed a few percent of my financial condition during the pandemic.

This is quite a huge achievement and I'm very happy for you buddy because most people didn't understand how and when to buy or sell and it became a big problem to them and thier capital.
 Most times, people don't even have the time to check in thier coins or read the news properly to know when the volatility has increased; I have a friend like that over here....if this is how they wanna operate, how will you make profits? Somewhat impossible!
The pandemic was a very tough period and every body was in WANTS for food majorly but for the ones that could utilitize thier potentials crypto-wise, then it really paid off

Yes, Bitcoin may give us a positive financial impact but these trends are fragile for the medium term. For me personally bitcoin is a volatile asset and if a correction comes it won't have a huge impact. I do have significant real-world assets to hedge my portfolio from the price declines.

Now to sum up. There is always a risk for holding Bitcoin and its volatile asset in your portfolio. Unless you are a trader and can use the volatility of Bitcoin to earn good profits by buying and selling at the correct time. So don’t make rash decisions and concentrate on longer term financial plan.

I'm not interested in how you make a profit regardless of whether you trade or invest, but what's interesting is that you believe that bitcoin is one of the best instruments on the market to trade or invest in. I know that $12K is not a small amount, but if your capital capabilities are better then it is still possible to earn more than you are making now. I like the way you diversify your capital into some other asset "maybe" because some altcoins can also provide decent returns for traders or investors.

Will we experience it too or did we experienced it too? If it is the second, I experienced it too but just little amount of money was my profit because I hold only little amount that turned much but still little for me, I focused more on trading and I lost even when the market was bullish and got to its peak.

Or if you mean we will experience such huge profit again in 2022? All I can say is that I do not know, but this 2022 seem of bearish than bullish, bitcoin have period of high income, it also has bear periods, seem more of bears this time, but I know investing at $37000 is not a bad idea at all.

I prefer not to play too much with the best element we have to store and transfer value, and instead I prefer to continue accumulating little by little (although from time to time I spend small amounts, but I always keep increasing the total of my Bitcoin holdings).

As you said you earned with the bitcoin because you ride in the bull market but again there's a cons of it, not all the time it ideal to hold your assets it depends on the percentage you got. The term buys long and sell high is sometimes quite effective to the people who really bought at the dip and waiting for their assets to gain profits. The short and long term varies so make sure there's a specific plan when to buy and when to sell your assets.

It is really interesting that you have achieved success by trading. and you earned $12,000 of profit. This has been possible only for you to make the right decision at the right time. I don't want to be a total killjoy here — but If those are the only trades you've actually made, then it's highly likely that you just got lucky. What comes next(that happens to most newbie traders) is that since they made money, they then become too cocky and end up burning their bankroll in the end. Don't make that amateur mistake.

It's great to hear a story like this when someone made a lot of profit during the bull run but what's challenging is facing the bear market but if you can make some profit during the bear market I would not consider you as lucky as last year. Just like what the above said I don't to burst your bubble but I've seen most people who got lucky during the bull run but ended up losing a lot during the bear run. I hope you wouldn't follow what they've been doing since I believed everything in crypto space is unpredictable so I think you were just lucky this time.

Of course one make profit from investing in Bitcoin, but I'm afraid you could also incur loss, it all depends on the kind of investor you are, if you are a get rich quick investor that just wants to put money in, and as soon as possible make profits and withdraw it, then you should understand that you'll not always be lucky, for example in your own situation, it's not everytime that things would work out positively. Having said that, that's were patience comes in, as well as understanding the Bitcoin network and the history of its price movement. The best way to make profit with Bitcoin is through ensuring that you're in the network for the long term.

I would still suggest to not rely too much in it regardless of how much you made in x months, as what others mentioned in here, you got lucky. Imagine others wasting all their savings in one of 99% of the shitcoins out there thinking that there would be another ATH of whatever coin they're believing to grow.

The deflationary aspect of Bitcoin coupled with increasing demand alone and
the act of accumulation and HODLing results in a positive financial impact.

Along with HODLing transacting with Bitcoin is important but Trading is a risk

What skills do you need to be able to trade BTC?  I thought  you wanted to say that most peeps  haven't  gotten  the idea to know how and when to trade(buy or sell) and that becomes a problem  because  most peeps buy BTC when it's at it ATH and expect to make profit? How?
This alone implies the common  sense of marketing or economics which says "when supply exceeds demand for a good or service, prices fall. When demand exceeds supply, prices tend to rise".

You're lucky that you're in a bull market and making a return on your investment, that's a good thing for you that many other users may not enjoy. As a novice trader or investor, you should also understand that you will not always gain because market fluctuations will cause losses even though your assets will remain the same and will not decrease. The average beginner in trading is not able to control his emotions when a price correction occurs, that's the beginning of why they lose in the market.

Don't be greedy, this is the best advice for you if you want to manage your investments well. Remember that if you can make a profit, you will also lose if you suddenly choose the wrong asset you want to invest in. Do it very carefully and consider the risks.

You are such an example of a true believer and risk-taker and despite the limited knowledge about crypto as you were still new to this but somehow, you have to prove that nothing is impossible as long as you trust in yourselves and also invest in the right coin and in good timing.

Imagining how much you earn for that period of time is really a sort of encouraging result. Maybe I don't have a nice story to tell but I can't deny myself that I was in profit more than what I expected before. And I really thankful that I know bitcoin and have taken this as a huge privilege to make my life more comfortable than before.

Just focus on your gains and your experience. As you've started just last year, I can say that's an impressive move that you did because you have made that much profit despite you don't have a lot of experience.

What you need to think right now is how you're going to deal with the bear market if ever it comes anytime. But with the looks of the market, it seems that it won't be coming anytime soon.
