I don't know if this makes any sense or not, I know you can rent hash power on Nicehash website so I'm thinking if I can buy hash power and solo mine ravencoin this is just a thought, have anyone tried this before?

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Solo mining takes days or more to solve a block unless you rent a huge amount of hashrate, remember solo mining is like a gamble you can end up earning even less than how much you spend on the hashrate power, it doesn't make sense.

Renting power is more expensive than the profit that these video cards give in normal mining. You will lose more money than a miner who mines in solo mode on his equipment. It really is more like gambling with bad odds of winning.

You can do this but like everybody here has commented. It will cost your more to rent the hash than if you just mined it yourself.

If you want to solo mine then you will need to make your own pool first. And when you rent the hash you point to that pool. So sure you save 1% from pool fees but you are paying a premium and fees for that hashpower. It’s lose lose situation unless you get lucky and find a block.

I would say it's not possible unless it's one of those solo pools. Nicehash buy orders must use stratum
and the server must be accessible from the internet, so mining your own wallet is a no-go.
