If you think that the market was crashing in the past few months then you are wrong, wait for the big one that could wipe away majority of the money from the market  . I know a few projects that are waiting to release their tokens because they think that the market is not that positive to release the coins at the moment and then there are projects that are throwing things expecting things to be fine.

For sure their investor will hype it more especially when they see greenlight but one thing is for sure there once the whales started to cashout their profits you can see them struggle to pump up. Of course, it has been reiterated severally that majority of altcoins in the market are more or less pump and dump coins that are only sustainable for the very short term, but investors still like to gamble with such projects despite the grave risks involved, so many of such coins have dumped, and didn't rise again, so many others have shut down their network after getting a considerable number of investors and made away with the funds they were able to accrue. Personally I would not also invest in this 'Ring' coin, all of this new projects fall under pump and dump coins, it could be on the rise now, but I'm afraid sooner rather than later, the 'party' would end abruptly.

Having said that, research is always very important for investors whenever they want to select a coin, do not invest on the basis of ones recommendation, or solely cause a coin is pumping, that's why I prefer just Bitcoin, and maybe ethereum, cause I believe in their networks, and they are basically projects for the long term future.

Experiencing a 3X increase with the coin you mentioned even though market conditions are experiencing a decline in my opinion is a natural thing to happen, because usually every time a new project is released on the market, of course there will be a significant price increase, but after holding on for a while at that price but then the price will definitely drop again to the lowest price, so whenever there is a decline I will only prefer altcoins that have strong fundamentals to invest in.

for me it's always good to buy a coins that already have good history especially thus genuine project that really skyrocketed during the previous run wherein along with trusted projects. because surely they all still have potential when market becomes fine again. Not new coins because it's quite skeptical and you don't know what will be the results afterwards.
