Ideas how to monetize my twitter account @nftcollector?

So i managed to get https://twitter.com/nftcollector account few years back, and i am kinda new to twitter game, but as that account has very specific handle i am getting followers more and more without basically doing anything.

Most of the followers are poor artists so i don't think referrals would do it (not yet anyway), and i have so far refused DM offers as their advertising ideas seem spammy and when it comes to pay, not worth the hassle. Even if they would pay more then most signature bounties in here.

I am not sure where to go from here, or shall i just wait to have more followers. I heard that big accounts make quite well for themselves.

I think 5K followers are quite small for Twitter. You should grow up more your follower by somehow providing an insightful tweet about a niche that you picked. Just do note that just because you did nothing and the followers still keep coming doesn't mean the account is legitimate enough. I mean I was once trying to build up a Twitter account by just using a follow-unfollow bot that I made myself. Basically, it just finds some accounts based on tweets or bio or hashtag, then the bot will do its things. I'm sure some of your followers may be a bot. So, I believe growing your account is a way more suitable option.

If you have declined those offers then it's best for you to grow your followers naturally, more organics, the better.

It is what the projects are looking and it's also better if you become more active there and post some interesting stuff that's related to your link.

That will for sure bring more value to your twitter account if you're planning to monetize it.

That's currently pretty much my plan. Just thinking if i should just wait or go full meme content. Or is there a way i am missing here.

Yes thats true. Huge follower gained access to some offers for whitelist or even promoters. With 5k followers you could do some of it and earned from it. But if its not your nature then you kust be familiarize on how these twitters Lord do their stuff. Its just a massive of post or tweets that have content. Since you are into nft name, might as well go that road to increase more your followers.

Your nickname is surely unique that specialized within the niche. But I don't think a big player following you in the current condition would do much.

The problem is whether you are able to financially get some portion of the space for yourself or not. I think it's pretty clear that if you are currently aren't satisfied enough with the past offer in terms of rate or way of advertising, widening and growing your account to widen your reach is beneficial, in that way I believe the idea of monetization will come along in the journey.

I check your twitter account and your pinned tweet has some nice impressions but I am not sure if all the comments, likes and retweets are from real people and not from bots? Because after I scroll down, your other posts only get small amounts of attention.

With that account you can try apply on bounties, you can get a good amount of stake for that number of followers. Yeah, i don't think i would apply bounties no matter my follower amount. If i wanted to just spam for money i would just pay for twitter followers in fiverr or similar service and i am not doing that. Maybe i'll just wait this first wave of nft craze out and continue as usual and see where this is heading...

You cannot start a real profitable project just because of a unique username, and therefore you need to gain interaction from users and the username will help you in that.

 - I suggest you find someone who specializes in this kind of promotion
 - then share the profits that are generated, but believe me the username is not of high value.

If all plans fail, try to sell it for a good profit, there is a high hybrid about NFT and therefore you must act quickly before things change.

BTW followers numbers is not important but the amount of interaction with the tweets.

 As someone who has been involved in marketing for over 6 years now, I know just 2 things that you can do. These are not the solutions, they will not allow you to get super rich, there are other things that you need to do, but I am only capable of giving you this two things, whatever else you need to do should be advised by someone else who is much smarter and better at this than me.

 1- You have a good name, you could sell it if you do not want to continue, but if you want to continue then you need to increase the value of that name. How? By more followers. How can you do that? Giveaways. If you have some NFT's that you do not care about, then just do a giveaway like "tag 3 friends under this message to participate in our new NFT giveaway", if you have 10 worthless ones, that is one per week for 2.5 months. Require people to follow your account in order to win, hell even the tagged people to follow in order to win could end up working. This way you will turn that 5k into 50k and into 100k. That number means a lot.

2- Promote projects, and have some contact there that projects could apply to you, get some designed image made on the pricing table as well. Do giveaways of other projects, do their bounties, do their regular post sharing, do retweets etc etc, whatever can be done on twitter, you could do it. That way projects who are starting their new collection will end up paying you to promote them. This could be your income maker.

 This is the two things that I can share. They may look simple, but many people feel lazy about it. When you really work, and I do not mean like too many hours, I mean smart ways, which I fail to do very frequently, then you can profit. Just decent professional looking giveaways to increase your follower numbers, and one telegram or mail or anything contact with a great pricing table to attract projects to promote.

Theres no need mate. As long as your followers keep increasing. I knew some influencers that have the same followers as yours but still manage to get some deal from private sale or promotional services. 5k is not bad at all, dont sell and make everything you need to study about nft posting and surely youll make your account profitable anytime sooner.

Looks like this is working. I am getting more and more DMs asking for retweets for money. Still rejecting all offers. I wonder how lucrative this gets when i have 100k followers.

It is. Just look how many of these influencers got a lot of followers and each tweet that they do, there's an accordance of sponsor payments if they intend to post just for the sake of the ad that has paid them.
Social media is a big business not only particular on the platform but also to its users. NFT/crypto is getting on the line and mainstream and that's why the higher followers you have, the better pay that you might get per tweet you do and it's better if you have a lot of active engagement with them.

But seriously its not that easy to grow followers. Make a content that seems to be like or used some hashtag that are normally been search by people. Once they noticed your content they will eventually follow you and keep increasing your followers. Generally speaking you are correct, however, with my nick it seems to be quite easy (already +1400 followers since i started this thread). And i have not created any content, or mass followed people. And this is healthy growth, not got by buying of mass following as you can see.

But not in this case. OP does not have any original ideas, since he came to the forum to ask advice on how to monetize his twitter. Alas, there are already hundreds and thousands of faceless tweets, telegrams, discord, YouTube channels about cryptocurrencies, NFTs and other things on social networks. And the vast majority of these channels have nothing unique. Just copying information that's out there in thousands of other places.

When the initial goal is to make money, such a feature as originality and identity will never appear on the channel.

Maybe got a point however if there are same content or swarming the socials then just made one even same that stands out.

If his asking how to monetize his social then this is the only way since most paid or monetize system are through ads and thats make your account more valuable. Ive seen countless users who keep posting and intially grow their profiles. Ive asked some and how do they earn, they said they been asked to promote or post such good content on the project they are work for. Its a shillng in crypto but thats not prohibit I guess as long as they declared its a sponsored post. Also one thing to note on this, are reviewing the project before since there are lots of scam projects that even paid influencers and thats the nutcrack job of some.

Building of twitter account is one the most hardest to do, maybe one could end up having bot as followers for years now I haven't been able to build my followers 😭
I wonder how possible one could have such huge amount of followers.

you better develop a twitter account first to get more followers, big accounts are not necessarily good the most important thing is your followers are active users, you can make interesting content and so on that's the best way to add followers, after reaching the target you can receive offers to  promote various projects
