Time to reinvest into Altcoins?

That might still be a bull trap or possible a good reversal it is still a mixed signals for me but I already bought some altcoins with the 30% of my total money just in case that it was not a bull trap and if it was a bull trap at least I still have some remaining coins that I can use to buy more altcoins or possibly Bitcoin too.

Bitcoin has made good progress in last two days, we all know that altcoins will follow the same path and some Altcoins like Binance have already started to surge so I feel this would be the right moment to invest into Altcoins like ADA, Solana and ICP which are ready to explode any moments, what's your take on this? Keep doing the analysis first when you want to enter the market and you should buy gradually even though currently the bitcoin price has gone up to the level of $41k and it could be that the current increase is a bull trap because if we look at the bitcoin price since the beginning of this year, the bitcoin price has experienced strong downward pressure, so I'm not too sure whether the current increase will continue until bitcoin returns to its previous high.

That's what I am stressing here even though this doesn't look like bulltrap but we have seen gradual reduction in last few months which is not a good sign as as I type this post Bitcoin is well above $41k which is still 11% less than what it was 30 days ago (5th January 2022 it was $47k).

I have mentioned some scenarios which describes the current market situation for bitcoin.

Bitcoin dumps by 10%
After a while bitcoin pumps by 4%
Then again bitcoin dumos by 1% for 5 days in a week
Bitcoin again pumps by 2%

This is how the market has been trending thus making it difficult to come to a conclusion whether to invest or wait for one more opportunity. I am talking about short term as long term invetsors don't have to bother about these fluctuations.

Why not invest in altcoins when the Bitcoin trend was down about a month ago? because if you buy now you may experience a bulltrap because the market has just recovered but it won't necessarily be bullish in the future so be careful.

We will have to take action now before we're getting too late. It was to see the market quite moving high slowly as Bitcoin shows some significant uplift, next will be altcoins (note: potential altcoins). Looking forward that the current momentum will continue and make us holders/investors get paid off.
I was in the plan to make purchases to Sol, BNB, and DOT. That will be my top 3 coins on my list, I think wasn't wrong about choosing them.

It's in good shape but it doesn't mean it can keep up. Always be attentive about what will happen next. The best buy point was 2 weeks ago even for altcoins and it's way cheaper than now but if you miss that boat then now could be a good decision. Just take into consideration that there's no assurance of what could happen next. If you can buy as low as possible then do it. Waiting longer might also prolong the profits that you could make every day.
The sudden increase in 2 weeks is the best example.

Good progress or price improvement for good investors does not mean it's time but rather it's time to check the percentage of increase of your portfolio, the best way to buy has always been when the market is going down, remember to be brave in buying when the market is in fear, buy when the price is dipping and know what you are buying and you are good to go, the things that are worrying is when you are buying when the market is improving when it's too late to find out that it's a bull trap.

All the altcoins in the market are crashing even bitcoin is going down so fast, with some people understanding this is a great opportunity to collect altcoins that have future potential, the current correction is happening is this a sign for the next bull run to happen this year, but I still haven't I am absolutely sure that this is a good opportunity for us to collect altcoins, so that this correction can become a trap for all of us, making decisions in buying and selling only for ourselves.

I don't think if you watch the market trend and have time spend to review the chart because we can clearly see that Bitcoin is already in the up motion together with some altcoins. In fact, the market is looking good and healthy right now, it is getting back to green already which definitely it thinks that buying altcoins now is ideal. But I think this never works on you and not for the people who have negative mindset.
That eventually a trap if we invest the wrong coins but if we did it right, profit is really what we get.

The market might be recovering, but regardless of that, good coins always deserve investments. If you're talking about high-cap coins like Ethereum, Solana, Polkadot (and it seems that the op focuses on coins like that), I think now's an okay time to invest because they are simply good projects and have strong support, so even if the market goes further down, waiting it out is an option. Ethereum, for example, is still about 38% down from its ATH, and I find it reasonable to believe that it will at least be able to reach that. Similar things are true about other major coins.

Hamsters bought bitcoin in the range of 50-60 thousand dollars with the hope of growth to 70-100 thousand dollars. Who will give them now to jump out of this train? Too early to say it's a real bull run, because it's just a one pump which lead the bitcoin price went to more than 10%. We will see the price trends till the end of the month to make sure this is the right time to invest on altcoins or not because when it is turn out to bull trap, holding alt will get more bleed because the price drop will be more than holding btc

I like your choices. ADA, SOL, and BNB are my choices. If you were to purchase then it'd best be now, in my opinion.

Too early to say it's a real bull run, because it's just a one pump which lead the bitcoin price went to more than 10%. We aren't really sure if this small progress from bitcoin will create a bull run or a bull trap in the end, so investing right now could create bigger risk in the future. But if you have invested in those well established altcoins, even if their prices end up in dips, i think that will not be a serious problem. Those coins with great potentials will always regain their value if bitcoin creates another price surge. But still, always invest on the amount you can afford to lose.

there is no such word as "Bulltrap" in the dictionary of long-term Bitcoin hodler.
Yes, it is the proper time for the short trader, But stay away from creepy coins, always choose the right coins. Better skip altcoin and invest in Bitcoin if you have enough funds, cause Bitcoin will never give you shit like altcoin. If you don't have huge money then the next choice is Ethereum then BNB then other coins. Don't get influenced by someone and buy shit meme coins to burn your investment. The only thing I always say to my friends "Buy Bitcoin before it breaks another ATH.

We will never know but what ever happens with btc, we can care less with it as long as we have our altcoins. It was the altcoins now that are showing a real gain. I say real because it wasn't just a trap but once altcoins increase it will continue steadily. 30 percent being put to alts isn't bad but can be already a good amount because we still need to allocate more in bitcoin. No matter what we are saying with btc now, btc can still show its worth in the future.

@OP solana is, I think the only one that is doing good right now but for the other alts that you mention, their pump are already over in the past but you can still try your luck on them. They are still a good alts anyway.

I did mention this in the earlier post. Yes Bitcoin's price is growing up in the last few days. Seems the correction is getting over. As always, Altcoins will follow back Bitcoin. Hope to see a raise in altcoins as well in few days. So invest as much as one can on the best altcoins you analyse and prefer. Yes, go for long term investment on altcoin as well. This would indeed bring in more profits like that of investing in Bitcoin and gaining profits.

a few weeks ago the prices for Altcoins were also already good and then it went down again. Now has at the current time even better purchase conditions so before, so you never know. Therefore, I always invest piece by piece, prefer some single positions on different days / weeks, but hopefully the price is going up now.
