Yeah before giving a bitcoins gift to your partner or lover, make sure he/she knows about it and has some interest in this. Otherwise, no matter how much amount you give in bitcoins, the other person will not be able to recognize the importance of it and all your spending on the gift will be in vain. You just said what I just said in the last part but I definitely agree with that, with mismatched gifts comes unappreciated efforts leading to misunderstanding of both parties involved in the relationship because they thought that you're not putting effort in that relationship. But for me though, even if they know about bitcoin, I would still probably go for some other way to gift that significant other that's far more memorable.

February 14th is very much celebrated worldwide as valentine's day, a day to show love, not just to our loved ones but to everyone. I'm thinking of doing something memorable for my loved ones and maybe any other person, something bitcoin related. Suggestions please, how can I and us all make valentine's day a memorable day with bitcoins?
if there are businesses like coffee shop or restaurant that accepts bitcoin in your country? then why not try to have a dinner date or something related? or some gadget shops that accepts bitcoin? then why not buy for them? or if you are out of budget / then why not give them bitcoin instead? or satoshi i mean.

I think that's okay if she or he's not interested on it. It will make them curious what you've given and just give an instruction on how to redeem it. Like if you're going to surprise her with a little amount of bitcoin with a seed. Make sure that you'll add some instruction on how they can get your gift. I'm sure that they'll be happy to hold it as if it's going to make them cool that they hold btc. Depending on our partner, if he is not very tech savvy, it seems that following the instructions to get Bitcoin will be complicated for him or her. There are our partners become annoyed because of it, but if our partners really like technology and surprises, there's nothing wrong with giving a surprise gift in the form of Bitcoin. But because I'm used to giving my partner on Valentine's Day it's something she likes, and of course my partner doesn't understand Bitcoin and she seems less interested in technology too, so I will not give Bitcoin as a gift to her.

OP, no need to think of some surprises make it simple man, I know most women today loves money lol why not just give her bitcoin, just buy hardware wallet like Trezor and gift it to her, she will really appreciate it if she discovered one day once bitcoin pump to the moon, its already worth thousands of dollars.

I think the OP can surprise the partner a bit even if the partner doesn't know bitcoin. Show him the bitcoin estimate in the wallet and if it makes him happy then I think the show is a success. It's a simple step for those who don't know bitcoin but know what money is. I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, so there shouldn't be a special surprise for my partner on February 14th. I often make surprises at the end of the month and this is a custom with no celebration date. As long as my partner and I are happy, that's good for us.

Nah, I don't think it's going to be complicated with an instruction. Without giving an instruction, that's the factor that will make things complicated. But if you have left them with an instruction from importing the seed and accessing the wallet. It's not complicated at all. I think even someone's who's not tech savvy these days. As long as there's a clear instruction, they'll be able to access it by following those instructions.

Usually, we gift lovers what she mostly likes. But since you won't make this memorable by doing something with Bitcoin then you can do it besides of general gift what she likes most. The idea would like to gift her a hardware wallet and teach her how to play with it. Then send her some Bitcoin units and suggest holding them for the future. So it will be good for both of you in case you intend to marry her later. You may pick some ideas from above as well and make it more memorable by a combined gift. Good Luck.
quite impressive, by providing a hardware wallet filled with Bitcoin assets. and the hardware wallet that is provided is also custom made according to Valentine's Day, it will be better. Hardware wallets that contain bitcoins in them must of course be held and seen on the next Valentine's Day and whether that will happen, increase or not. Providing some general knowledge will further increase his lover's desire to know more about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and their technology.

You could give them bitcoins but it would be much more appreciated if you do let them know even with the basics so that they would really able to like on what you have given. IF you are planning on making out some bitcoin gifts then you could simply tell them about first before February 14 on which you do teach them about the basic principle but of course you wouldnt really be giving out some hints that you would really be giving them on this upcoming holiday or event of this month because if they do able to know at least then they would appreciate on what you have given.

Many people consider that this is a very special day. So giving some special gift will be very memorable. Well, how is it about giving some Bitcoin to your beloved one? Or, some voucher or gift with BTC? A Valentine edition of Ballet Card This idea is very interesting and also beautiful. Your beloved one will love it so much. But, consider that the loved one also knows and understands about Bitcoin. At least, they know how to utilize the gift. Or they are interested to learn about Bitcoin. If they have no intention, it may be a waste.

^ You probably be thinking of giving your special someone flowers, money, or chocolates as a unique Valentine's Day gift, and you might be thinking of writing a conventional love letter, but you are not sure how to go about it. There are so many methods to use BTC to show your love, and I recommend that you write a letter via BTC wall to add up your special day. You can really make your love exceptional by doing this since the message you send will be safeguarded and will remain eternally in the blockchain as a reminder of your unending love. Nevertheless, this depends on the person who receives the gift, if the persona who have zero knowledge of BTC, it is probably good if you include the guide and also a hardware wallet where BTC is stored.

What i would do is give her a hardware wallet with couple of hundred dollars worth of BTCitcoin and ask to do anything with it according to her choice or store it for the long term as the valentine gift.

I am not a fan of Valentines day so i think I'm gonna pass for this event , but asking if what you can bring to your love one? Why not customized a wallet that closer to His name and put some BTC inside? so at least he will be connected and interested in crypto knowing that he had already funds inside? that will symbolized your Love and concern for His future .

If I am your partner I will be happy if you give me a little bit of bitcoin in my wallet (if your partner is the same as I understand bitcoin) but if not usually women prefer flowers, chocolates, and clothes, dinner on Valentine's Day
Yah, me too. I've prefer to received a small amount of bitcoin rather than giving me a bunch of flowers,or maybe you can treat me for a dinner. I suggest to look at this site and get some idea https://www.google.com/amp/s/bitcoinist.com/valentines-day-gift-bitcoin/amp/

can't believe it's Valentine's Day soon... In my country Valentine's Day is not a big day that must be celebrated, but my husband and I have been celebrating Valentine's Day for years. I don't expect a big gift from my husband, as long as he allows me to continue buying Bitcoins when we have more money then it is the most beautiful valentine gift. Me and my partner are used to on Valentine's Day, we are a family holiday. But in my country, there is currently a prolonged pandemic going on, and I think all parts of the world feel the same way. i plan to give 1 btc to my partner. as a form of my love for him. although he is not interested in crypto.

That's a great idea buddy, I've never done this before because my loved ones didn't know about bitcoin or cryptocurrency so it's kind of non sense if I give them a certain amount of crypto as a gift but today luckily they now interested in crypto and so far they slowly learning how to transact using it so I am also considering this one. However, I am still a person who used to observe traditional treats and I think I'd still love to take them out in a good food and hopefully could found a place that would accept bitcoin as a mode of payment.

You could simply send Bitcoin directly and I'm sure that the person that will receive it would be happy and grateful. Instead of buying material things like flowers that would fade, just give Bitcoin and let the person decide on how he or she will use it. I hope everyone would have the same generosity during this upcoming hearts day.

I think that the best proof of love or at least a serious relationship would be a predictable gift in the form of a 0.5 bitcoin transaction to your soulmate. The point is that the memory of love, even if it once passes, will remain in the blockchain forever. What could be cuter in our brave new digital world? Unless you also exchange NFTs in some of the popular meta-universes. The future has come faster than we have time to realize it.

There is a friend that is practical and appreciates if he gets a money or it can also be a btc and we have a type of friend that is simple and does not expect much but since the topic is about btc and you as a friend wants to spread the love using btc as a theme. You would want to add some twist on the flower that you gave. Painting a btc art on the vase if its a physical flower or if its a flower painting, you can be creative and add some btc elements in the background. Let's make someone feel that they important to us by doing a small effort. Let's share the love this hearts season.

It's a bit meh. I mean there could be something more than just sending Bitcoin to the person. Why wouldn't everyone just give money to their loved ones in Christmas as well? Stuffs like flowers might fade out, but there's an attached memory to it along with sentimental value. Mbitr mentioned a great way near the OP on what's one of the best stuffs to give in Valentines Day with the use of Bitcoin.
