What kind of features should a crypto money project have to enter trends in coinmarketcap, how much should it be searched on the platform?
Is there anyone who can help or advise on this?
thanks in advance

Try asking their support instead, there's an option for " Questions" on the number 12 in the list of request types. Link: https://support.coinmarketcap.com/hc/en-us/requests/newUnfortunately, there's no info in the 'Trending' page nor in their FAQs about the requirements for getting into the 'Trending Cryptocurrencies'.

in fact, it is crucial that the project and its token / coin be listed on one of the major exchanges. also, a minimum daily trading volume is required. I know it was in earlier years any coin listed on Yobit is automatically listed on CMC. (this is certainly no recommendation for this fraudulent exchange) even if the daily volume is only $200-$300. As I know, many small exchanges offer their trading bot, which conducts a certain number of trades daily. I wrote about this in the case of the Tokpie exchange and how things can go in the wrong direction

Can't be sure. I just assume that what is trending in cmc is the most typed word in the search field during a certain period. However, the marketers I found on twitter use the reward method to perform certain tasks including adding their coin profile to the watchlist and some social media account boosts. And another fact, cmc also collects visitor cookies. -snip-
Unfortunately, there's no info in the 'Trending' page nor in their FAQs about the requirements for getting into the 'Trending Cryptocurrencies'.
I doubt that the cmc team will explain the algorithm to be trending, because after all it has to be purely generated.

For your coin to be eligible for listing, Coinmarketcap has provided an information on their listing requirements[1] and the methodology[2] they use that can be found on their website.
He is not asking about listing but about trending which are two completely different things. I doubt that the cmc team will explain the algorithm to be trending, because after all it has to be purely generated.
One look at the trending and it's obvious that feature is heavily manipulated. I heard about service which offer altcoin projects trending for 24 hours for like ~50k USD meaning either someone figured it out, or someone from Coinmarketcap team is selling that. Just look at what is trending at the moment; completely unknown meme projects like Bored Floki Yacht Club, without big TG community or much activity on social media platform. They just got listed today, paid for that trending "service" to gain some attention, and then dump on greedy and naive investors.
@OP Don't bother with that thing, as you can see it's heavily manipulated so unless you are about quick pump dump and dump, you shouldn't put too much into it.

What do you mean crypto money project? I hope you are not referring to your own project or the one you are promoting. Well, 99% of crypto projects nowadays are solely created for the sake of money, at the expense of gullible and lazy individuals.
To be quite frank about it, this trending section of coinmarketcap should be taken down for good. This does no good whatsoever. Everything that it does is bad. This is like a paid promotion for the shittiest of shitcoins in the market. Landing there does not mean anything. Look at the coins that are listed there. They're shitcoins through and through. Hell, they don't even have complete data on CMC itself. They don't have the best volume. Their market caps are not large either. They are not listed on trusted exchanges. Everything negative could be said about them.
In other words, that trending list is utter useless. CMC is only exposing newbies and clueless lazy crypto individuals to more risks by giving a list of worthless shitcoins that many might think to be profitable.
Anyway, if you have a project or are tasked to promote one, build your project, not just its image.

Im not sure for coinmarketcap but with coingecko, if the star button on the project page got spammed or too many clicks on that particular page of coingecko tokens then it could show to trending. Ive see twitter influencers doing this and when Ive checkef the trending the coin/token is on the list already. But its not good if its due to that kind of trend where they do giveaway to do like or star but shoulf be based on actual view where the tokens get trendy in real form.

However, the marketers I found on twitter use the reward method to perform certain tasks including adding their coin profile to the watchlist and some social media account boosts. And another fact, cmc also collects visitor cookies. If they will reveal the recipe to be trending, everyone will just game the system and we can see a lot of scam coins on the trending page. That is bad as that can miss lead the newbies. A coin should only be trending in a fair and natural way. On some sites like youtube and twitter for example they only way to get trending on them is when everyone is talking about them in the comments or by using a hashtag or by retweeting and watching their video's. CMC has some similar functions like what we saw in social media so maybe it can also work the same but more importantly is when the coin is in demand. Conducting an airdrop, bounty and other forms of marketing helps too.

Conducting an airdrop, bounty and other forms of marketing helps too. It is really likely the most typed and searched project and that's why it is trending. But there could be also other metrics and it's not just on CMC alone to figure out how to trend on their own platform. For Twitter, it's a different way of making a topic get on trending and you're right with that. And in YT, it's a different thing on how a video gets trending and even there's no comments, it's reliant on the views.

Coinmarketcap is a cruise and you are just looking 👀 forward to taking advantage of it too, I've lost my confidence in CMC since it did nothing than give info about new coins and tokens, the rating can be faked easily through spamming and no special research carried out by CMC team.

Actually i used to check the trends section in coinmarketcap especially if i'm looking for a token to trade for quick profits. And yes most of the coins on that trend section of CMC must be a top gainer within the sites. Because base on my observation about years now, basically most of the coins that has big percentage within the sites always go directly and will be included to that trend list section and most listed crypto in it are new token that making hypes..

I agree with @Rikafip, the trending section on CMC is based on what coins have bee searched last 24hours and this is coming from their ongoing metrics and not by paying the website to show it up there. Veteran users dont look into this, but rather the long term trend and development of the project. If some random coin gets pumped to 400% in a few hours due to some pump and dump groups, it does not mean that the coin is legit, this is what a owner should know. What you should rather focus on is developing and marketing your own project, going to niche media sites and getting articles posted there and then once your userbase is created, check the listing criteria on the support page like @Maus0728 said. Beyond that is unnecessary.

Since he is already advertising that he provides help with CoinmarketCap listing, his goal is to find out here how the trending works so he can include it in his offers. And indeed some are offering those services. As much as I don't like Binance's influence over CoinMarketCap, I think that situation improved regarding exchanges rankings compared to the period before Binance took them over. Back then scammy exchanges like P2PB2B and HitBTC were constantly among the top 10 while nowadays that's not the case so in a way their users are more protected than they were.

This answers all your questions about how it can be trending in CMC. If you are a coin developer and have a community can mobilize them by doing a search on CMC using your coin name, but I am not too clear if this only applies to coins that are already listed in CMC if yes then you must first list your coin and it is very possible to spend funds because I have heard that have to pay if you want to listing your coin there.
