The most important thing is you must be careful when dealing with the fake site like that. There's no real grimacebsc. All of grimacebsc in the market were scam tokens.
You must be careful with this trend. So many scammers are issuing bunch of new tokens used grimace as its name. We know that grimace became popular due to the mcd and elon.

Depends. Sometime connecting is kinda scary but most likely they are harmful. Better to disconnect it right away if you have connect it. And also dont click approved on some process its asking you, it could be a way for them to access on your wallet and steal your funds. Better to be safe than sorry.

No by just connecting your wallet doesn't affect your funds. If I'm not wrong.

Websites made by scammers, on which they steal people's funds, may have a button like "Claim Airdrop", or something similar, after clicking that claim airdrop button a popup opens and metamask asks for transactions permission. after clicking "ALLOW" all the funds will be sent to the scammer's wallet address.

However, if you are feeling insecure then create a new wallet and transfer your all funds in it.

Although you have moved the funds to the new wallet which was not required in the first place. If you had just disconnect the metamask wallet from the site, the site have no control over the wallet or its private key.
Even for the trusted site, i usually discount my wallet if i have finished up the transactions/swap.
Another thing which you can do is to make a new metamask wallet, keep very low funds on that wallet and connect that wallet to the sites.

Good find. Now we know the origin of this coin, I thought its just a coin created out of nowhere. Usually that kinds of coins are very risky because they are only using the hype to get attention because their coins cant offer something useful and it will be hard for them notice if they play it the normal and fair way.

I am also wondering why the op paid such huge fees for transferring his coins to a new purse but I guess most of his coins are from eth network because we know how much the fees right now in the eth network. They are not cheap and there is no exception even if your only going to send a small amount you will still be charged the same but he says its worth than he can get scammed bigger than 300 usd.

You should asked if anyone here have used that link to connect with his or her Metamask wallet before and if Yes from anyone here then what was their results. Was their funds stolen or not, maybe they will give you more feedback before you give the site access to connect with your wallet, most scammers are active deploying a means to steal your funds so you have to be smart enough to ask questions over here to get best results among all.
