I'm from a country where I make 60$ per month working in a company so I decided to leave the job for online business, stock, Forex, crypto trading are where I was looking at until crypto become more interesting to me, now I'm making more than 60$ every two weeks from crypto, few days ago the company owner called to inform me that the salary have been increased to 80$ per month, do you think I made a mistake leaving my job in the first place? Is there anything wrong working online in your bed room everyday?

Not necessarily. Leaving any situation where you feel you are underpaid is always the best option. I however think the idea of becoming an entrepreneur should not be oversold, it is a huge risk as well as lots of work. Simply jumping out of your job would not work out for everybody, an alternative would be to start whatever venture you wish to get into and juggle that with your job, this way you have some sort of security, although it gives you less time. Is there anything wrong working online in your bed room everyday?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with working remotely. It is gradually becoming the new norm.

More than 20 years ago, a friend told me "the best thing about working for a salary is you know how much money you have to starve for the rest of the month". There's nothing wrong with starting on your own. Beginnings are always rocky, but in the end, you can only get better. Don't quit. Ever.

60$ per two weeks is 120$ per month, way better than your monthly salary already wouldn't that be 'emotional damage' to leave high payout over low monthly salary payout? 😂 , I love working at home because of so many reasons so don't give up you are definitely on a right path.

Nothing is better then working from comfort of your home. You are the boss of your work. The possibility to grow with crypto or other online business is tremendous unlike in regular 9 to 5 job. OP keep your head up and continue working in crypto domain, not only you will enjoy but grow also.

Salary is a fixed amount that may be increased occasionally by little fractions, but the increment will not be as exponential as when you devote time to those online ventures you've mentioned- Forex, stock and online businesses are more profitable in a long run compared to working for someone or a company.

I think there are two issues.
1. Risk. You may be doing well now, but there will be times when you lose money. One way to lower risk is to build savings. My suggestion is to pretend that you make $80 per month, and save anything beyond that before doing anything else.
2. Advancement. Presumably, as you become more skilled at your job you would be paid more. As a trader, the only way to increase your income is to increase your trading assets. That means withholding a sufficient amount of your income to increase your trading assets by maybe 20% per year.
If you can't follow these suggestions and still make $80 per month, then maybe you could go back to your job and do trading on the side.

No. What's important right now is you earn and at the same time you have your time with you. Whatever you want to do today and tomorrow, that's freedom and you're not worrying that you have no income. You're improving based on your story and if you think that you're having a feeling of guilt that the owner offers you with a slight increase, then it's up to you. If you think that you can drive and trade when you get home, then that's an additional source for you. But for me, I'll choose freedom and I get to spend more time with myself and with my family.

I don't think it was a mistake to leave your job because right now you earn more than you used and an on top of that you avoided the annoying and controlling boss.
I would suggest you to keep learning new things and new ways of improving your weekly or monthly income, and you diversify. Trading stocks or crypto is no easy task too.

It depends on the country of residence and how sustainable the work is. If I were in your position and was in my country with a low standard of living, I would choose not to leave a $60 job even if it was a meager income that covered my needs. The ideal type of work is a job that guarantees in writing so that your rights as a worker are protected by law. Online income should be used as an alternative income because it does not necessarily guarantee needs. After all, most of them are not time bound.

If what you're saying is true then, doing the simplest math, you haven't made a mistake in leaving your job. Even if your former job's compensation is increased to $80, that is still lower than the $60 every two weeks that you said you earn online. However, that is, if we compare the money that you get between the two. But is there no way for you to keep the company job while also doing your online business? If there is none and you can only choose one, your online business is the better option.
But let me clarify things first. The $60 bi-weekly income is not regular, right? There could be times when instead of an income, you are losing, correct? And if you make money in a whole month, it is also possible that you lose money in a whole month. Isn't this so? If it is, I'd rather keep the company job and also keep having food on the table. Do the other thing only if time permits.

I don't see any wrong, comfort of your house + more income. Even if there were less income but you earn enough for your needs then I'd choose that over job for freedom it provides.

No, you are not made a mistake because you want to have better payment but maybe you can consider accepting your first job if your boss can give more so you can have more money to fill your daily needs while you have another way to make money from crypto. But if you want to focus on crypto, you do not have to go back to your boss instead still try to make more from crypto. But no matter what you will decide later, that will need consequences from you and responsibility so you need to know the risk and what is good for you. There is nothing wrong with working online at home because many people do that and earn more money. Maybe you can discuss with somebody closest because we do not know what jobs you did in the past.

Ask yourself: how sustainable is your way of making money? If your income source gets rekt if it's the case that we enter a really bad bear market, then you might want to not let go off your traditional job. Especially if you're referring to trading/investing, which doesn't provide any stable cashflows at all.

do you think I made a mistake leaving my job in the first place?
Well, with a real job you have some level of security, even though it depends on the job and some factors. But this security does not exist if you are earning profit on your investment in cryptocurrencies specially if you are day trading altcoins. The laws in your country could change and make it very hard for you to trade altcoins or impose huge taxes on your profits making it almost not worth it. The risk of shitcoins dumping on you and make you go from $60 per 2 weeks to -$100 in a day losing all you'd earned. Is there anything wrong working online in your bed room everyday?
The risks as I mentioned above. But the real question is why didn't you do it as a second job, it is not like trading shitcoins takes that much time. You can have your job security and earn your fixed salary while earning more money through trading.

Seriously joining cryptocurrency is not really a bad idea and am really happy for you for making the move, you are making more cash now than when you where working in a company, but I don't really know the pathern you adopt for trading to me is not really a cool idea relying on cryptocurrency trading alone as a source of income, I don't really know the working our for your company but I believe you should be able to be trading and still be working at thesame time. I believe you shouldn't have only one source of income!!! Is just my opinion.

When your boss called you to say that he had increased your salary, did he do it to tell you to come back or was it as a form of mockery? Look, assuming what you say is true, I think this willl be result-oriented, meaning that if you are still earning that money or more a year from now, you will think it was worth it, and if you do badly and have to look for a job, you will think you were wrong. Although if you can make a living for yourself, it will always be better than working for someone else.

If the work that you did doesn't create big problems for you, doesn't spoil your health, doesn't take up all your personal time, then why not continue to do this business? If after the main work you have the strength and time to practice your stock, crypto tradind, why not combine them? If 80$ will not be superfluous for you and that work doesn't create problems, then why not go back? It is reckless to lose a source of income, albeit a small one, for the sake of possible profits. Still have to work hard to earn this profit. I don't know the specifics of your work and therefore it is difficult for me to take into account all the nuances. In the end, by performing your duties at the main job, you will be able to improve your skills and in the long run, you can get a promotion, which will directly affect your salary. Or you can focus on developing your skills online and improve in this direction. Think about where you are more comfortable working, at your old job or online, and do the work that interests you and brings you pleasure. Sooner or later, you will send the work you don’t like to hell, and you won’t be able to return the time spent. In fact, we can only give advice, but it's up to you to make the decision.

just curious, what is the reason why they informed you that the salary has increased? are they hoping to hire you back or are they just informing you out of pettiness? also, regarding whether it is a mistake that you left your job, although we can express our opinion, in the end only you can answer that. there is nothing wrong with it.

I will rather stay at home and work for some dollars than working under a boss for few dollars more, there is nothing better than real freedom been a boss of yourself the advantage is huge, you will grow better than working under someone and as time goes on your income will grow too.
