I don't think so no. I don't know how it works specifically, but it's pretty much like allowing transactions between two points/networks when you connect metamask to opensea. It's like opening up a channel, BUT you still have the last word on whether a transaction would go through to the said channel (via metamask). This could be the reason why wallets now has the option to create a new wallet easily. There have options before of using a new wallet address but that was not enough because most of your funds are still there on the same wallet. Checking the url must come first before doing any transactions because phishing sites now are rampant.

It is important to bookmark the original sites you are using so that you wont need to enter them every time because you can mislook their spellings and you can get phished. Opensea is a legit site but hacks can also happen to them so we should be careful. Always logout or disconnect your wallet after you use them.

It's not as long as that's a real opensea website. If this is a fake website and this will be potentially to be the risk when you are connecting your wallet to the opensea website. opensea was the trusted company and they will never take your coins by stealing it. They have large amounts of money and opensea has got so many fundings as well. I personally think that connecting your wallet (MM) to the opensea was not a risk,
that's why the reputation of website must be checked before you wanna try to connect your metamask. As long as it's trusted website and that's fine.
