[Scam alert]Pre-sale Paypal token ads on facebook

Hello everyone, I'm here to warn people about some sort of a fake project of pre-sell token that are allowed on facebook ads platform. Today i was surfing on facebook till i got this advertisement about paypal token and i right away suspected something was wrong. And after i checked their website claiming it is paypal token or project or whatever. It's so obvious of their fakeness they didn't even bother themselves to explain their ideas or their project. All they offering for users to joing and registering on their website to buy some fake tokens using bitcoin that gonna make you rich. The biggest problem is that facebook allowed them to advertise such scam things. And for sure many people already bought and spent money on these fake tokens which probably gonna disappear after they gather people's money.

Obviously, it's not coming from Paypal if you have an account on Paypal you'll see the announcement if they are selling their token on their webpage, they will send it through their newsletter, on their official social media sites, they don't need to advertise, the big Cryptocurrency media will just pick up the news and their token will have a big marketing campaign, I hope investors will use common sense on this one.

That's right since if they really want to open a sale like this for sure they will not market their ads on facebook and their site will be enough plus the their current will possibly spread the word about it. This name copying or pretending to be paypal is obvious scam so I don't think there are investors will fall on this scam.

Unfortunately, you will find that some are victims of this type of scam because they are present on Facebook (if it was scam, the platform would have removed it) and because it bears the name of a well-known product, which is PayPal.
Report it directly to the PayPal/Facebook and they will delete this content quickly due to the ease of checking for scam.
Unfortunately, the survival of such sites for a few minutes is enough to make some believe in such cheap scams.

I reported the advertisement just after i saw it and now it's not on facebook ads anymore. But i don't know how they allowed it in the first place because the fact that this scam ad appeared for me then it must be appeared for many others and some of them fell in their trap and got scammed. The website is still working till this moment and more fake tokens were sold for victims. I would know how such websites can be stopped and closed

Currently, Facebook ads are being used a lot to promote fake websites, as a result of which ordinary people are falling into such traps. Now it is seen in the Facebook advertisement that the scammers are creating pages and websites in the name of different big companies and their main purpose is to scam the crypto users in different ways. Therefore, crypto users should refrain from sharing their personal information on any type of website for their own safety.

It's true I saw that ad on Facebook and so many sellers like with big company names, I've come across this ad, Meta,Apple,Amazon,PayPal,Elon Musk, and some token sales from big clubs like Real Madrid etc, don't we have to know that the official one is not possible to sell that cheap on Facebook and they have their own announcement for it, I hope newbies should be able to know more about this and it's definitely a scam under the guise of a big company.

Judging from the domain they created a new one a day ago and re-promoted it with ads on Facebook.

The website is almost the same as what @ScamVirus found on Whatsapp ICO sales so it's possible that they are a gang that made this scam advertisement.

Don't be tempted by anything, all are classic tricks, but beginners need to avoid them.

I saw the ad again today on facebook but with a diffrent domain that you mentioned not the same i did few days ago. So it's a bit bigger scam project they have. The problem is in some of the comments on their ads few people are really buying this scam unfortunately.

Their previous ad campaign was shut down after being reported but they simply started a new one, so not sure how effective reporting them is going to be?
It looks like they are registering the domain names and hosting their websites with Namecheap since they don't require identity verification. Aside from reporting the ads to facebook, I suggest reporting the websites to the domain registrar too. In this case it's Namecheap and you can report it via abuse[at]namecheap.com

It looks like they are registering the domain names and hosting their websites with Namecheap since they don't require identity verification. This is not effective about reporting ads on Facebook. I've reported crypto ads several times but they are still there and they haven't been blocked, meaning it's not effective if it's reported by a few people but must be a lot.

I know they are always changing in the domain and replacing it with a new one, I suspect after they get money they will replace a new one, then create another and advertise again on facebook.
I think a report to Namecheap is also very appropriate to end their scam.
