Bitcoin price is volatile but altcoins price are more volatile, future trading can be leveraged up to 100x for bitcoin and coins like ethereum while 50x for other available altcoins. Which coins have you been using and which is bringing you profit?

What I mean is BTC/USDT or ALTCOIN/USDT.

I think what that matters is the leverage used, but I have been experiencing liquidation at 3x leverage for altcoins in extreme volatile market, when I calculated it for bitcoin, the trading fund would not have liquidated if i used bitcoin because the liquidation price is still most of the time far from the price.

I will not talk more about manipulation because I have seen bitcoin future market price manipulated in a way many people's coins are liquidated in just few minutes, but I think I have seen it happened in bitcoin future market ones on the exchange I am using but this happened frequently with altcoins in volatile market.

I used btc pair usdt for future trading, but I did not let the trade open for a long time. If I can make a profit, I will close it right away and wait to see when I can enter the market. If you want to make a fast profit, you can use 50x leverage but remember, the risk to lose the money will be bigger. I never use more than $10 for future trade because I know the risk. Oh btw, you should use the Isolated feature because that will help you not to use all of your balance to trade because I had that suck experience before

BTC/USDT is popular for futures trading. I usually have done that a few times leveraging around 5x to 10x (sometimes 20x and not more than that) whether short or longing it. But I had to admit that for most of my future trade positions, I usually lost actual money lol (not in demos). I say that it’s much more risker than the traditional spot trading in my opinion but it did give us an opportunity to set our TP/SL.

Moreover I don't try to increase my leverage. Usually I can stay with 3x and 5x leverage having in mind the risk. Btc pairing is more reliable for me and increasing my leverage is more risky. I try to avoid altcoins because they may easily be manipulated. I like to focus on btc more often than altcoins.

BTC/USDT is best option for future trading, cryptocurrency market is too risky for future but if you know about it than BTC is best choice compare to altcoin. because bitcoin lead altcoin, so when I choose trading for altcoin than I always follow bitcoin. It's very helpful, I always trade 2x to 7x not more and take profits.

I prefer to use cross margin, isolated margin is not also bad but cross margin can help when you analysed the market to go your direction after about to lose, but it is nothing too. Recently I have not transferred money from my spot wallet to future wallet, it is like not necessary for me either.

50x leverage is too much for me, I have used it before and I lost and money liquidated in few minutes, I have preferred 5x for bitcoin, I like going 3x at time and some time I prefer 1x. Like you have said, also the lower the leverage the lower the risk of losing which is better.

I trade bitcoin, ethereum, BNB, and XRP and futures, those are my top coins. I also trade other coins sometimes but I focus on high volatility coins for a high risk high reward setup with low leverage only. I trade altcoins mainly on stock market, because it's much safer in my opinion since not all altcoins doesn't have any good developers, meaning their life isn't that long compare to top altcoins that you could trade in futures for long term.

I always commit a trade for the bitcoin/USD pair because it the most and also the bitcoin dominance of course, and it depends on my trade mostly i prefer for the long position i commonly use my MACD, RSI, Twin tail and the rest is the technical analysis like the trend, choc, bos and our favourite order blocks. Other than the bitcoin i prefer for the ADA/USDT and ETH/USDT for me these has a future to earn profit too. As possible I avoid the farm tokens its not ideal.

BTC market is very good for future trading it will reduce the risk a bit because from what has happened BTC can always recover over time and peak in price. a little risk for a little profit with big capital it is very worth it.
Any Altcoin market with a fast movement will reap a little risk in the future in my opinion, maybe except for the top Altcoins like BNB, ETH and a few others that are at the top of cmc.

That will be okay since we really need to play carefully with the risk. With the amount that I used and small leverage will not cause me a big trouble if somehow, I am in lose position. Well, we have our differences. No matter, what you choose, just be careful because future trading is not easy as regular trading. When I choose 50x leverage, I do not try to make a big profit instead just hit and run after making a profit. It will depend on how the price moves but my suggestion is just to use small money and use isolated. You will see the differences because you still have balances in your future trading account if you lose.

Considering the volatility of Bitcoin, I'd preferred to this compared to altcoins. But because we can't just rely upon a single trade, having altcoins is also preferable. Most of the time I use to choose coins that are quite active and moving in a zigzag direction as I can easily make a buy/sell option which makes me not feel bored waiting to get fill/refill.
Of course, using stables coins like USDT as for trading pair is a great idea.

For me, I have more exposure on pairs that got high trading volume, like 24H trading volume or high market cap pairs, so Bitcoin is the highest market cap, and Bitcoin for me is the most I like pair trading future.
There are also some altcoins that are worth trading especially if you are watching some pairs of altcoins or observing them and just waiting for a perfect entry.

I'm mostly on Bitcoin back then, I did try to do some other coins back in the past but I limited myself to trading coins that are in the top 50 coins, just to make sure that I won't lose much if I do actually lose. The longest altcoin I've traded were XRP, ETH and Doge, though I've stopped trading them now (and Bitcoin) and just started DCA strats onto the coins that I'd think would perform well in the long run, which includes Bitcoin on the list naturally.

I think most people use BTC for futures trading because the movement is not really fast and it fit for people who want to earn daily income profits from futures trading.
Trade alts in future market is too risky since the price movement of an alt is more agile, but sometimes doing futures with alts (especially with not so big voume) could be more profitable if we are lucky enough to get 50x leverages

I would go with USDT/Altcoins. Yes, I wold select altcoin as of now as best Altcoin does not require a huge investment as their values are low. I have traded altcoin often then sticking with Bitcoins. We have so many best coins to choose. I would invest on Matic. Matic has been one of my best altcoins to invest. Matic has been doing so good since it came into the matket. A good growth so far. So blindly one can invest on it.

In future with leverage, it only makes sense to trade bitcoin. The reason isn't only because of the volatility but also because BTC generally is an independent variable by which I mean when you trade BTC you generally have to worry only about the BTC chart, but when you trade altcoins what you have to worry about is both the altcoin chart as well as the BTC chart, so if BTC falls you will unnecessarily hit your liquidiation no matter how strong your trade was. This is why only bitcoin future trading makes sense, but that also I feel only till 10x or 20x leverage, above that holding anything for a few hours is quite risky.

It is exciting for me because BNB movements sometimes are wild and can give nice profit
I used BTC/USDT or BTC/USD besides using BNB.
You should try to feel the up and down of the price but close the trade once you profit because it will be better than letting the trade still open while the price is going too wild.

I have used many altcoins before, even BNB is among the altcoin I have paired with USDT in future trading, it gives better result too but I have becoming to like BTC. BNB is more volatile than BTC also.

These strategies listed are good but it depends on the coins. I will prefer not to swing btc pair because of the volatility. Bitcoin is volatile and you can get your profit within 24hours if you swing or day trade on it.

I have used many altcoins before, even BNB is among the altcoin I have paired with USDT in future trading, it gives better result too but I have becoming to like BTC. BNB is more volatile than BTC also.

Really ? I was thinking btc is more volatile. I go for btc paired with altcoins than BNB.
