Yes, I'm also looking forward to the future of gaming. I'm invested in Axie and despite the months have been too sluggish and not really profitable. I've managed to get with those days when it's on the peak and very profitable. I was planning to get out of it and have a full exit but didn't pursue instead, I've stayed. Gaming with the integration of earning is the future. Let's just look at the reality even not related to cryptocurrencies, there are too many businesses and esports personalities that have been earning through games. This is really the future.

But it could be much better if their coins would have other utilities even outside their game right? since the adaptation of this coins could spread and can be a useful in the future. Like Bitcoin where it can be accepted as a payment everywhere, so probably partnership with other companies is a good idea, not because some people are earning doesn't mean that it can be the future there should be someone buying it and when they buy it they can do something with it.

How did you came to the conclusion that blockchain gaming is the future? I think it is hard to make such a conclusion, as most of current games, where blockchain technology is used are rather simple. These games are very primitive. It is either puzzle like game, or grind game, or a MTG like games. I might be having an incorrect info, and you might be more experienced in this question, but then name me released games, that can beat regular AAA games, lets say released in last 5 years.

My vision of current blockchain games: they are either basic games, or mutation of ICO's. As most blockchain games now have some arts, webpage, maybe 5-30sec gameplay video, but try to raise money for development. And a lot of such "blockchain games" disappear after several months of token/nft sales.

Thats really true. However some developer takimg advantage of its hype and releasing game that arent sustainable or worse rugging the players/investors. Noticed a lot of rug activity on bsc and its not a good way to expand metaverse. Hopefully people should clearly pick their investment wisely. Some of these games are also suspicious so only be vigilant when investing.

I agree with you mate, but the only down side is that blockchain gaming isn't for everyone just like the regular games are, blockchain gaming requires a lot of things and one of those things is a high end device, be it android or iPhone, it must be up to the task to avoid lags and hotness.
And again, blockchain games requires technical knowledge of games mechanics, this is one of the ways to guarantee wins.

maybe not all, but most of them. because we don't know yet the fate of most of these gaming platforms. if it is backed by the likes of Ubisoft, they have the chance to survive long and grow big because they have been in the industry already even before the rise of blockchain gaming. so their players are just adopting this new type of gaming genre.
from where we are now, these nft or p2e gaming platforms are just in the beginning phase of their journey. since we have millions of gamers across the globe, they can always get a good audience if the the company has rock solid plans for their platform.

The only question is that how the market will be in the future, I mean if it gets saturated, for sure many blockchain gaming might not prosper. And remember that Axie is a prime mover, so obviously many are into it up to today so that price will likely to thrive even in bear market.

We can start with eSports, as time goes by technology evolves. And look now, here's the online games that already using blockchain and the good thing also is you can start earning while just playing. A few years ago I am really looking forward to eSports that it got a big future.

Definitely. I remember before when I wasted a lot of money playing different online games and it's not just money that was wasted but a lot of time and effort. That era could be over if all new games that will come out would give back the invested money even at small units per month, week, or day.
That is the future and not just 3D, Virtual, or whatever upgrades they do. It is more appealing to gamers if they know something will come back to them and their time is not wasted.

All forms of games can be used, either directly or indirectly, the difference is that we can exchange games that use blockchain directly into tokens, while we can use traditional games to create content, share our behavior on YouTube accounts and others, but traditional games are not necessarily everyone can use it to earn income, this is the difference between the two games, and I believe blockchain games will develop more in the future.

IMO, I agreed that P2E blockchain games like Axie, is one of the most successful blockchain P2E games that have been released so far, but it doesn't mean that it was the way of the future because if we say "future it was big and we have no idea what will happen in the future and because the industry continues to evolve thats why Im sure many creative innovations will come sooner or later so the future is uncertain thats why Im just a slightly doubting about that notion.

You can't be sure that the adoption rate will continue to go up, yes, there is some hype around blockchain games for now, but what if it's just hype right now, and what if that hype goes away, blockchain games has a long way to go, that's if it's going to be around for so long, I would like not really picture it as one for the future, except if everything continues to go on legitimately and people are not scammed through it. But we can be certain that some individuals would still make attempts at scamming people, and if there is so much of that, it could make people lose interest in the whole project.

These games are firing because people are able to earn money from it. But as soon as these games will start charging money, the situation will change quickly. A majority of the internet users want free things but in order to survive, the blockchain gaming companies will have to levy charges in future.

Also hype is an interesting factor here. As long as hype is alive around blockchain gaming, they will survive. But a time will come when the users will look for real value beyond NFT and free tokens. So unless these gaming companies evolve around the consumer need, they will become extinct.

I doubt this dream will become a reality, if gaming for fun never makes any sense to you then you aren't a hardcore gamer, if gaming was never fun to begin with Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft won't be as big as they are today with gaming, graphics and fun is unbeatable even if you can't make money out of them, most crypto games I've played so far sucks, I'd rather spend hours playing COD Warzone instead of axie infinity.

If they got bored they will stop playing but if they have a true passion for games, they will comeback again to play. Type of game is also important for a gamer. Of course, they will get tired for a game that is boring or if the game doesn't keep on updating to add more elements on the game to make the game more exciting.

We have good nft games at the moment, axie for example but many players are complaining for the drop of the slp price and they make this an excuse to stop playing the game. its clear that this people are not true gamer's but they are only in for the hype and for the earnings. Now they are switching to other nft games that value does not drop yet.
