Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Eying NFT!!!

Take-Two, the publishing company behind the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise, has its eye on the potential opportunities presented by NFTs.

"We're highly convinced there's an opportunity for NFTs to fit with Take-Two's offerings in the future," Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick reportedly said via Nintendo Life.
 

 
"We believe in rare goods, we believe in collectibles. The concern we have is that there's speculation going on," he said. "We want to make sure that consumers always have a good experience every time they engage with our properties and losing money on a speculation is not a good experience, so we're going to stay away from speculation."

Although the CEO has his reservations about the crypto world and speculations. however, I think soon enough we are going to see GTA nft in the metervase space because they just made their interest public, what is most intriguing is the constant influx of big companies like Gamestop, Ubisoft, Square Enix etc coming into nft.

Introducing NFT by the Grand Theft Auto is a great step but i would prefer if they integrate these NFT in the game play. If these NFTS has a proper use case, people will buy them to use them as characters in the game. I don't think it's going to be a unique event or something we'll be waiting for, the game can run a central market for NFTs and I don't think it needs to do that on the blockchain.
I do not expect this to happen in the short term, but the more people accept NFT, the company will add it, it is related to making profits and not losing them in the stock market because some financiers do not like cryptos

Since GTA has a lot of fan following and a million of people play this game, we cannot imagine the hype of the NFT being announced by this game. I am thinking one step ahead as how about introducing a coin for GTA from which you can buy the in-play items to play the game.

Am a GTA fan buddy and I can tell you I was very excited about the news, I was already hoping it will happen someday, as a big gaming company with millions of players this is definitely going ballistic when it happens, and imagine they decided to have a metaverse gaming project with play2earn, something similar with GTA, lol, it will be huge,

Big news. Since so many big companies are also hiring so many crypto developers to be a part of their team and it seems like that major gaming developers are also interesting with the world of NFT. it’s true that these kind of company always avoid speculation because it could bring risks for their games that usually doesn’t really understand much about how economy works.
I think they could eliminate volatility by simply making fixed price for it, even if the price could be raised by individual merchants of the NFT the base price should just stay the same so the volatility will stay around that base value.
If GTA decides implementing NFT in their games, it could be such big innovation that could bring their games leveled up and probably could opens up the possibilities of GTA becoming metaverse in the future and that’s gonna be such a huge thing.

Wew, the big gaming platform is moving to the NFT. I guess there will be lots of speculations about another big gaming platform like the one that created god of war or something else that will be going to the NFT. It seems like that NFT is very suitable to be used by open world based gaming platform. This means once GTA will be joining in the NFT and people can have NFT to be used on their character. I really wish that they would do nfts inside the game, like different cars, guns, paintings to your house and marketplaces for it. But in reality i see them making some gta-themed crappy collectables. I hope my pessimistic view is wrong.
