Hi Folks,
Did anyone else notice that the Cryptoart.com site has stopped (for now it appears) selling the prints? Check out the link. If I had time I'd screenshot it and put it here to document the transition. I hope it goes well, I don't know how things are going to unfold but I'm really curious....
https://cryptoart.com/I quote part what it says as of today (02/13/2022):
"...the friction associated with secondary sales limits the potential for a true, liquid aftermarket to develop.....
Before we get there, we need to pause the ability to purchase art via the website. Our next step is to drop what we have left (along with a few surprises) as NFTs. Existing collectors will have a path to claim the NFT's for their prints. We'll also drop a roadmap soon.
Hang Tight for a bit longer, and thank you for your patience! - Troy Fearnow "So for us with what I'll call the V1's it might be the last of them, at least as physical prints. I may be wrong. I'm very curious what the surprises are and want to see the roadmap.
I sent Troy from Cryptoart a message that I think it would be wise to get on this forum more often because this is where the interested parties seem to hang out. Alas, his statement on friction above lol. He agreed but I have not seem any updates but really have not had time to look.
So, I'm still looking for the Satoshi Roundtables, error prints, a Patriot Large, and a few others.
Good luck with the auction ;-)
