Like many people, my favorite was Chelsea.  I'm not surprised that he won the trophy but Palmeiras frankly pushed Chelsea hard.  Palmeiras could have won on penalties if Chelsea hadn't scored with Kai Havertz's penalty.  All in all it was a good fight.  Congratulations to both teams.

I am surprised Chelsea won champions league before but never won club world cup at that time, clubs in Brazil do win the cup very often but I know clubs from Spain make it hard and won numerous times also. I am also happy that Chelsea won club world cup although I was once a fan of the club but never a fan to any club again. I am congratulating Chelsea and Chelsea fans.

A penalty shoot out would be 50/50 therefore the only way to make certain was to win the game in 90 or 120 minutes. Yes Palmeiras did try hard, both teams had opportunities to win the game before it went to extra time but Chelsea ended up winning.

palmeiras are a strong team because they managed to defend against chelsea until the injury time round, without the magic goal from havertz the chance for chelsea to win is 50%. congrats to chelsea and also palmeiras for a beautiful match.

Chelsea's coach Tuchel would have come under fire for not playing Ziyech and keeping Hudson-Odio on play even when he was playing terribly had Chelsea not won the club finals. Palmeiras did well too and didn't make it any easy for Chelsea. This will be Chelsea's first ever Club world cup trophy, great achievement...even greater achievement for players like N'golo Kante who with this trophy, has won all trophies as a player. In between, do you think it was fair that Mendy started ahead of Kepa? we all know that kepa has been instrumental to the team in the absence of Mandy, i think he deserved playing time in that finals.

Brazilian and Argentina clubs are very strong. They can compete quite easily against top teams from Europe, which has proven to be the case in the past. It is often the European teams that win, but it doesn't matter much. Often there are often talented players who start in Brazil and then progress to the top in Europe.

All joking aside. Under Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea FC is playing extremely well and deserves to be crowned "Champions of the World". There's been a hell of a lot of good work done here over the past few months and years, and I'm curious to see if Chelsea can maintain its form in the near future. They indeed have the right players in their squad for more titles.

Damn you would think that these top European clubs wouldn't have so many problems to beat clubs like Palmeiras, but we see again and again that these games are often times about a single decisive goal. When you just read the names on paper you would think that Chelsea makes it 4 - 1 after 90 minutes, but no. Chelsea deserved it though, the statistics were quite one-sided.

European clubs always dominance and have chance out as the champion on FIFA Club World Cup, I think Chelsea appropriate as the champion last night after defeating Palmeiras 2-1 goal scored by Lukaku and Ziyech from penalty kick. Thomas Tuchel have good touch with Chelsea because he was success give many trophies but still waiting by Chelsea fans, could he give primer league trophy for the blues or make Chelsea keep waiting next year.

This is why Tuchel is a tactician and not a journalist as many coaches are. He knew if he needed to substitute somebody in, to change the game it has to be someone in form and that was very evident when ziyech came in at extra time. Without his impact I don't think there was any other person that could have changed the game the way he did even though the goals weren't coming. Chelsea was looking confused in the first half as Thiago Silva had most of the ball but didn't know what to do with it, he lacks creativity but he isn't to be blame since that isn't his specialty.

Palmeiras played very well but were not finishing their chances and I knew they'll regret that. Thankfully we got that penalty to end this before the shootout as that was had been a 50/50. Congratulations to the team we now have the final puzzle as Chelsea as a club has won all their is to be won and guess the players that has won all those trophy; Cesar Azpilicueta. He has sealed his name among the Legends.

Honestly I bet for Chelsea win for normal time and I lost, Chelsea really got strong pressing from Palmeiras. Actually, previously Chelsea also got the same gameplay from Al-Hilal, both of them only played defensively and did strong pressing on Chelsea so that it was difficult for Chelsea to penetrate the defense. Because of that, I was actually really bored watching the match because there wasn't as much fun as expected. Both are just waiting for a small mistake to break into the penalty box, so I am not satisfied with Chelsea's performance in this event. But yes, anyway Chelsea can win all the trophies especially for Mendy who again managed to win trophies and of course that is a great achievement. Congratulations to Chelsea and all their fans and congratulations to one of their best captain a legend Azpilicueta who had now won virtually every club trophies both local and international available, more credit goes to Mendy who won two trophies back to back AFCON and Club World Cup, while I also salute owner Roman Abramovich who had been financing the club since taking the ownership of the club, Chelsea represented Europe well in the competition they took much of possessions in their matches against Al-Hilal and Palmeiras however unlucky in scoring goals.

It looks both teams are good enough and are dedicated to win but in the end there is only one team that goes home with that trophy. No wonder why many people voted for Chelsea because Chelsea won the match Right at the start they already know that Chelsea team has the edge to win even if we say that the other team looks strong.

Being in the 2nd spot last time is already a good spot/place but not winning the first place makes them became hungry and motivated of getting it and now they finally have this. Efforts that they did finally paid off. Congrats to them.

No I didn't take 3 points, I took only 1 point for Chelsea, my bet was 2-0, Palmeiras lost, while in the final game 2-1, so I got 1 point correct score, the team I guessed Chelsea was accurate.

I was hesitating for 2-1, that's why didn't guess the correct 3 points for one team, i tried to do that 1 point, i was still lucky not to draw, if the result 2-2 is finished, my bet is lost, this is where I can still say I was lucky in guessing the score 1 point for Chelsea.

Did you also do something for Chelsea vs. Palmeiras.
