Yes, he's rich and that's for sure. It's a combination of all of his shares from the companies that he owns. But about putting his money on eth. I know it's just an example.
But it's not going to happen, it's likely even going to be in Doge rather than in Ethereum. And that's the better possibility of what might happen.

It is obvious, but remember that majority of his assets are liquid so no put in investing all in Ethereum.

But I get your point though, investing is really good if you know how to double your wealth in crypto. But it is a big risk that maybe a few can take that risk. Elon didn't even need to put all of money to make the price of ethereum to be doubled. Used billions of money to buy it from the market instantly will be pushing the price of ethereum a lot. This can make ethereum jump so big in a day but i do believe that will never happen.

This guy is a wealthy person before even without cryptocurrency, he owns a huge business particularly automotive company that deals with electric motors. No wonder he could use that money to invest much on ethereum or any other potential assets like doge. Last year there's a lot of circulating stories about this coin, but suddenly it just went bearish again because of lots of controversies.

This is a completely wrong idea in my opinion. Because the value of this man is based on the assets of his companies along with his personal assets. He can use his property as he wishes. However, he cannot use the assets of his company as he wishes. I passed it, ethereum is already a proven crypto currency, whether it is elon musk or not, and it does not need elon musk. But he can shill a new or any project just by using his name. We've already seen this best on doge. But he certainly does not try to add money to his money by investing money on proven cryptocurrencies.

I think if elon decides investing in ETH with all of his fortunes, and quite literally owns almost 100% of ethereum, I’m sure ethereum will be useless and have price next to zero.
I mean instead of buying it back from elon musk, knowing that ethereum is quite literally owned by them, people could just easily create other version of ethereum, or just move over into a newer smart contract platform like matic.

Putting all of his money in ethereum didn't mean if it will be pumping the price of token. if he can buy ethereum at cheap price and why does he need to pump it with his money. I don't think it's comparable, But its no doubt that Elon Musk is a super-rich individual, and all his fortune comes from the stocks of his companies real-world mainstream companies like Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, The Boring company, etc.  

I know that It's a sarcastic example if Elon will put his fortune into Ethereum which is, in reality, it's very impossible to happen, Anyway, I have doubts about Ethereum MarketCap being exactly like that? don't get me wrong but it's not realistic because crypto prices are fluctuating faster than any other assets that's why I never look at that marketcap comparison. It is undeniable that Elon Musk is currently the first richest person in the world because he has several large companies, so there is no doubt that his wealth is quite fantastic. But I don't think Elon can be careless and want to invest all his wealth into the crypto world which is too risky because of its volatile nature. It is all on paper. Do you think there is enough liquidity to support the prices if Elon decided to sell his position for cash? I don't think so. The moment he decides to cash out, the prices would crater very fast. Those rich on paper people aren't as rich as you think they are. I am not sure what the current official standings of the wealthiest people in the worlds are right now but as far as i know Elon Musk has overtook Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos a few months ago and was the richest man of the whole world for a certain time. Wealth like that is unimaginable for normal people like me and you i would guess i mean even if he would buy everything that he wants he would still have Billions and Billions after that. We also have to keep in mind though, that those super rich people don't have Billions of dollars just laying around as FIAT on their bank accounts, most of their wealth is in the form of shares of companies that they own.
