To be honest, for me diversification is crypto and then other assets. But as long as you can handle your investments or at least you have the capital then this is a good option. However, for the majority who is an average joe investor, maybe bitcoin is good already and no need to spread your capital to some altcoins or shitcoins. it's very difficult to find the lowest price to buy so when i buy bitcoin, my benchmark is the ATH price.  we know bitcoin ATH is around $60k+ and now the price is down 50% from that price, so the best time to buy Bitcoin is now.  if you have more money then buy bitcoin slowly from now until you reach your target.
