I think the bitcoin price will increase after the month of February when the Asians will round up their new year. In the past, I remember that most Asians who hodl bitcoin sold a lot of their bitcoin during their New year season to buy gifts for their loved ones. This happened in 2018 when bitcoin price dropped from $20k down to $11k. February is a significant month in the bitcoin price history except for last year when Elon Musk and other whales pumped the price of bitcoin to an unexpected ATh. It's better to hold bitcoin than any other Alt because majority of the people go for bitcoin and when people mention cryptocurrency the first coin that comes in mind is bitcoin. It paves way for other cryptocurrencies and they all follow the price of bitcoin. If it's bearish time for bitcoin so it'll be for many other Alt coins in the market.

Imo,, Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency for moreover long-term investment, for people who like doing the long-term investment, with high trust and value, surely, Bitcoin deserves it. It has been proven by many people who are still holding Bitcoin from era to era, from bearish to bullish during several years.
Although we know that the price ranges of Bitcoin right now are very unpredictable and the price is still under the expectation, the chance of Bitcoin to rise up again is still high, even in the year or in the next bullish.

You seem right, the market isn't healthy to see but this is just for now. The recovery is not instant that we can see it right away. The market has a huge correction and we know this gonna happen but people, the majority are still believing that it will turn back high again that is why they hold their Bitcoin. I think you did the same?

With this current situation, well, I don't just blame whales but this is just to come normally whether we like it or not. Correction is part of the market journey that we can't avoid.

We already witness the ups and down of Bitcoin but still here existing and in fact going stronger, due to increasing number of investors trusting and engaging themselves plus the adoption of some countries and businesses. I think in this part of the forum we are pretty convinced that Bitcoin is the best investment. Surely they wouldn't tell you the same thing in the alts section. The only thing is that the reasons you provide to justify it seem pretty poor to me. As mentioned, past results do not guarantee that they will be repeated in the future.

You and I may have a little difference in terms of investment, I personally prefer small coins for me to make trading assets because coins other than Bitcoin are more likely to have active movements in the market, and for those of us who do short-term trades of course several coins other than bitcoin is the right choice for profit, while bitcoin is the king of all coins, and I think bitcoin will provide great benefits if we dare to hold it for a long time in my opinion.

Just by doing dollar cost averaging in Bitcoin will give you profit in the long term because you can see in its chart that it is only going upwards. After its drastic downward movement, Bitcoin went up and up and up until it reaches the $69,000 price mark a few months ago before going down by almost 50%. History has been shown that whenever Bitcoin goes up, it always exceeds its previous ATH so yes it will in the future but I don't think that it will be this year IMO but maybe next year.

Even though I definitely agree with you when it comes to Investing in Bitcoin as it is mostly a guarantee that you will surely make a profit over time from your investments regardless of when you invested I believe that if we looked at some Alts too, though you didn't mention which ones failed you, you will find some good enough projects to invest in, I guess that's why you said some and not all.
