crypto users will go to other alts to diversify their portfolio and possibly gain profits but they will always go back to btc as their main crypto holding. because as we've seen, alts come and go, but btc keeps its position in the market. we can always invest in other alts and find some profitable ones. but most of them are not worth holding long term as the lifespan is usually questionable.
this is why most crypto holders always have btc as part of their stash. because you can't question anymore its reliability.

Investment in bitcoin guarantees profits compared with other cryptocurrencies, though it might not yield a massive profit compared to those pump and dump meme coins which consist of many scam projects, however it's very obvious it can never be a fail investment, investors in bitcoin has no course to worry about its price because historically it's price had experienced huge and massive corrections, but afterwards return to its bullish runs and pump massively to attain a new ATH and I forsee such an event reoccurring again.

My guess is he have done scanning the past charts or the past performance of bitcoin and he found out that the coin is strong that it does not go down heavily but I think that was a little bit wrong IMO because there was a dip where btc go down low to 3k and I think this is one of the lowest price btc have reached but no problem with that because btc can make a comeback for those who didn't lose faith on believing on it.

I am only intrigued the moment you say that btc has a best development team; team? I think it is still a mystery if btc is created by a group of people (team) or it is only created by one person and that person is Satoshi Nakamoto.

Not only that, some people invested in some altcoins  but later become scam, some altcoins can be good but there are many of them that are not good. If you check the history of each coins individually, you will noticed some got to ATH in 2017, there was a bear market and coin price significantly falled until 2020 when ATH was reached again, but bitcoin reached ATH again while there are many altcoins that increased but did not get to ATH. Another reason bitcoin is the best is because we should not use what is centralized as coins, almost all altcoins are centralized in one form or the other unlike bitcoin.
