if for those who just want to have fun, I think it's fine to use it. As long as you don't make large withdrawals, the casino won't pay too much attention to it.

I think you misunderstood the OP. Changing the DNS will be useful only if the website you are trying to access is blocked by you country's internet services provider (ISP). If it's the other way around, and it's the website which is blocking the access from your country, then this won't work. Changing the DNS won't change your IP, so it doesn't help in circumvent the geo-blocking imposed by the website. This is were you need to use a VPN: to get an IP from another country.
But I wouldn't recommend any of the above if you don't want to lose your money.

You have given a good recommendation, it's not a wise idea to be going against the rules of any company. It might not always be easy for these companies to know exactly that VPN is being used, especially when the VPN is very strong, but it is better to generally avoid it to avoid causing trouble for ourselves. A person like me would always be bothered if my account would not get blocked through that act, so it is better for me not to use it to keep my mind at rest.

Using up DNS or VPN wouldnt really be that just different as long you are accessing on a site which your country is restricted then you cant really go away with such risk for those
funds to be blocked or locked into your account.
Just like you, there are really that moments which i do really want or like to play up badly on a site specially if it do looks interesting but unfortunately i've been blocked
due to countries laws and regulation.

I still don't know why many people don't know the meaning of DNS, I still don't know why many people don't know the different between DNS and VPN?. My own concern is generally on access settings which might put the user in trouble if care is not taken, and this is majorly about VPN, but not limited to it.
