Summary of My Bitcoin Journey So Far

Got to know about Bitcoin through a Bitcoin ponzi in 2017. Joined but didn't make any money.

I found Bitcointalk the same year and started a writing service.

I was hired by a few people and earned hundreds of dollars.

By 2018, I had earned thousands of dollars with my writing service. I also started my own blog.

Six month after working on the blog, it earned $250. The next month, [edit] $750, then $1250, the following month and so on but its traffic crashed after a Google update, so I reverted back to my writing service.


To me, Bitcoin means control and the freedom to accomplish what I want without inhibition.

Update: I think the first time I came across Bitcoin was in 2011, but I didn't read the article closely even though I as prompted to. Maybe, I'd have become a whale today.

I noticed that some of you have questions, so I'll try answering them.

This is what I am curious about also. Can he put the link of his blog site if that's fine with him? Also, what kind of writing service he had done in the past? Articles dedicated to the project? As he said, he earned thousands of dollars by his writing service. What kind of write-ups he is doing to earn that amount? Because what I am thinking is that there are Articles Campaign in most bounty programs, and if you are lucky with the payment, you can indeed get good money out of it.

It looks a very welcome extra income for you since 2017. Thanks to bitcoin, many people are finding tasks and jobs opportunities online they wouldn't have access if it wasn't for the digital currency. I suppose it has made total difference in your life and even encouraged you to be more optimistic, inspired and motivated to try new things focusing your financial prosperity.
Bitcoin has opened doors in the lives of many people who used to live in locked rooms without any sunlight coming in, that is: people who didn't have any hopes left due to the precarious reality of their countries or regions.

But once bitcoin connected the whole world and brought every kinds of remote professionals together, it stopped being an issue and became just an unfortunate detail.

We all have our share of falling down as we join and become an investor of bitcoin. Many were really introduced to bitcoin because of ponzis way back then.

Now, it's all about the new craze in the altcoins market and they're becoming a victim of those new scams there.

With your blog, did you continue it or just left it hanging?

and how did you find this writing jobs that you've done? have you offered your service or did they contact you?

Your bitcoin journey though was without challenges but you did very well. Many people that knew bitcoin through ponzi schemes lost interest on the way and tagged bitcoin a ponzi scheme. Some others when they lose money through ponzi they will say it is bitcoin. But you were able to know much about bitcoin and was doing writing services. It was a great one. Even though you had some problems when the traffic of your blog crashed and yet you did not give up.
I also admire you for starting by learning. I know you must have learnt enough to be able to write articles.

Just continue what you do is good to you, these are just challenges on your path of success and in no time you will be rewarded with your hard work. Bitcoin is indeed freedom from someone who controls your own money but in Bitcoin, you are your own bank now. So keep up the BTC work and show them how you will gonna rise up again.

Not all people will have the same opportunity just like you and sometimes some of them lost track on where they were going. It's amazing how you manage yourself earn a living just by writing.

Actually you could really able to earn money with those writing skills of yours speaking with typical fiat that we do know into those typical freelancing sites as long there's someone who would hire you
Most of people here on this market do start out on learning crypto on the time that they had been fucked up with ponzi hyip scams which is definitely true and based up with some real experiences.
Not all does have the chance to accumulate something big over all the years which you should really be thankful.

It does mean control and freedom, but you could have achieved the same thing with fiat currency. You could have made a blog and earn in fiat with the traffic. Or you could write for someone else and get paid in fiat like most people does.

But when you will have to exchange if for Fiat, you will very likely have to go through KYC or AML if you are using a centralized service.

I could bet OP was hired to write the articles and he was not the owner of the site. Some services pay for articles and other ones pay by to amount of words.

By the way, if you want to earn bitcoin by writing then you can create a block and add banners with referral or affiliates to exchanges or casinos, that's the best way.

That's not your Bitcoin journey but your Writing journey even you're writing about Bitcoin articles, just like you become freelancer. Bitcoin is only a payment option here, similar like you get paid by dollar or your local fiat.

How's going with those payment you got before? Have you convert it all to Fiat or still hold until now? If you automatically convert your payment to fiat, then I don't see any Bitcoin journey on your life.

Can you tell me which bitcoin ponzi you have participated in?. It reminds me of 2017, I was also involved in many ponzi projects including bitcoinnect, hextracoin...I made a lot of money from them but then I also lost all my bitcoins. For me, all are interesting experiences in my own bitcoin journey.

That's not your Bitcoin journey but your Writing journey even you're writing about Bitcoin articles, just like you become freelancer. Bitcoin is only a payment option here, similar like you get paid by dollar or your local fiat.

That's what I was going to say, he hasn't told us anything about whether since 2017 he has invested in Bitcoin, whether he bought and then sold, whether as of today he has Bitcoin holdings.

I hope he clarifies this for us, otherwise this thread looks more like a personal blog post, in this case about his experience writing and by chance a small relationship with Bitcoin.

Aside from his writing expertise, I guess he's earning from the ads from it. Not sponsored but with google adsense.

That's likely for most of the blog sites that are earning through writing. As for the last question, he has likely did both of it, applied and probably contacted.

Sounds a bit similar to a story of a friend (actual one ha), different destinations but same route. Found Bitcoin through a doubler (not even a ponzi, just a direct deposit scam) but when he'd told me he needed BTC, he didn't tell me it was for that, so his first satoshi was mine, sent to him, sent to a doubler haha.

I'm a freelancer myself and by then had done a number of jobs (you can check my profile for some assignments from this forum in my early days of Bitcoin) so I handed him the work I no longer did. He ended up working harder than I did initially, so earned respectable amounts, but gave up the writing to pursue other "opportunities" as he'd call them.

Use to try convince him Scheme A, B and so on were all scams like the doublers. ICOs, staking, mining, etc. Even paid for physical coins unfortunately not the ones we know are valuable =)

Crazy to think he no longer is into it today, if you could ever call what he did "being in Bitcoin". He probably used it (as payment currency) a lot more than most people ever will in their holding lifetime, but he has none now and hasn't since 2020.

I look back at my old Trust ratings and the BTC I earned from those jobs (not all clients had accounts here and most of them never posted but those who did gave a fair indication of the modest dollar sums I'd earned then).

$10-$50 for anything ranging from 1000-5000 words was tight, but I was desperate and learning the ropes. But that same BTC earned in 2016 is worth about 40x more than what it was. I spent a majority of everything I earned but that was my unwitting start to DCA.

I don't know if I miss something there or that I'm just being doubtful that something isn't right? A click on those links will present authors with different names, yet OP claimed they wrote all? Look at the different names – The first article was written by Jofor Humani. The second by Jordan Lyanchev and then a third by Jofor Humani, then Cyberczar, Jinka Kamma. How then can one be sure OP is saying the truth?

"He wrote for different sites" i guess @op was paid to write for these authors, this sites are not directly his but some of the work he has done for others, because clearly there are like 3-4 different authors from the links.
