Putin's postulates

Postulate One. Russians returning former colonies to the empire by war - patriots

Postulate Second. Representatives of the former peoples of the Russian Empire, who do not want to become citizens of Russia again, are nationalists

Taking into account Putin's postulates, all the former Soviet republics that wished to gain independence at the behest of the nationalists who seized power there, guilty of the geopolitical catastrophe that befell the Soviet Union, are potential opponents of Russia. Moreover, local nationalists infringe on the rights of the Russian-speaking population, introducing the language of the indigenous population to the rank of state, which the Russians, who have lived there for decades, have not bothered to learn. Forcibly compelling Russians to learn the local language, without knowing which it is impossible to achieve a worthy position, in Putin's opinion, looks like genocide.

Putin, who assumed the function of the defender of the Russian world in the entire post-Soviet space, since 2014, with the help of weapons, has been protecting the Russian population from Ukrainian nationalists, who have become insolent to the point that without asking the permission of the Kremlin, they threw off the corrupt owner of the golden toilet bowls.

In general, for reasons of Russian security, the countries of the post-Soviet space should return to the bosom of the empire, otherwise Russia will be forced to deprive them of part of the territory that historically belonged to Russia and which they took for themselves when they gained independence. True, the three Baltic countries that have managed to take shape in NATO and the EU are trying to ignore Putin's postulates, but just for this case, an ultimatum was sent to the West to get NATO out of the countries of Eastern Europe, otherwise Europe cannot avoid retribution for its aggressive policy towards Russia.

This is an endless war, where the Bolsheviks overthrew the Russian Empire and founded the Soviet Union, the Soviet Union collapsed and the Russian Federation emerged, until Putin's ambition to reunite the countries of the former Soviet Union under Russia. We can only hope that Putin's ambitions will not trigger a third world war which will cause massive casualties and huge economic losses.

Putin sees the future and plans to prevent things like war. If he wants war, he would have crossed the borders already.

Back in 2014, Putin already saw the threat when Ukraine people started a coup and install a president that is not Russian friendly such as Zelensky.
We couldn't really say Ukraine has democracy if we look at what this Zelensky did after he won. For one, he shut down the TV channels and imprison his counterpart.
So couldn't really say just as Biden says that he protect Democracy because it's BS.

This is when Russia also claims Crimea which is once theirs in the first place but there is a trade between the two countries which they've settled. Putin will always have plans to protect Russia because he had seen over and over in the entire world how countries fall and are being occupied by the US military. Countless of them. He already sees it that in time US military might also be in their backyard (Ukraine)

He defends his country, I don't think he will claim back the Soviets when the world is fully new and countries are equipped with nukes. I don't think Putin would like to rule a land filled with ashes. Besides China is much stronger economically and in terms of military forces.

Yup, I also know that Putin's actions only want to protect his own domestic interests, he deliberately warns Ukraine not to join the NATO alliance which will disrupt political stability on the borders of Russia and Ukraine. Putin is not stupid to start an open war now, because it could be the beginning of the destruction of Russia, because there will be a lot of sanctions and condemnations from countries in the world. But still his ambition to revive the "Soviet Union" remains, even if it is not possible.

Whatever the theoretical and moral coverage for what Putin is doing is merely going back to the feudal ages in which the dominant power will acquire the upper hand and dominate the smaller adjacent feudal states in the region. As of now, he's got Belorussia as a what can only be described as a vassal state and now intends to create another two vassal states in Donbass. This is nothing new in history, the little problem is that is a centuries old form of control and subjugation.

Putin is playing the Russian nationalist card, since, in the end, nothing unites more than a good'ol war.

However, Putin started the war, hoping that the West would be afraid to help Ukraine under Putin's threat to start a nuclear war. Fortunately, the West understood that Russia would not stop at the seizure of Ukraine.
