Today I just opened my storage where i buy and stored most of my crypto coin and the rest I noticed have almost lost 60% of all my asset in dollars so I was tempted to sell off all and take a look at the market to know if there will be corrections

You have to take a look at the market first before selling, and not selling first before taking a look at the market. If after taking a look at the market and you are still convinced that it will dump more, you can sell to recover some losses. Do not allow the arguement of others convince you to keep holding when you know you will keep losing. Take the decision. The tokens are yours and you alone has the final say on them.

Most of us are hurt by the current market, but if you can hold why not. I consider this normal and I have failed moves like that already for how many times. I sold some of my top 10 alts because the market was not okay. I was tempted but in the end regretted the decision, because if I have waited just for a month things would go different and I could've earn bigger rather than cut my loses. It saddens me and now this time around I won't make that mistakes anymore. If the market crashes, so be it. Even my mined eth is still on the pool, I did not withdrew and will wait even for a year or two. That is the resolve I have now because in the end, the risk takers are those who have bright futures ahead. Good luck to all of us.

Seems like rate hikes also can affect on the price of the alts+BTC. Lets see what FEDs going to in mid of march.If they go for 50BPM rate hike we might see another dump to 30K resistance level and if we keep seeing they are increasing rates in May, might because of this bearish market will be little longer than we think.

The market looks indeed very grim, after all we’ve already having such a big bullrun so bearish is really being expected here, I never seen any market that could always having bullrun and never stops.
and right now the condition of the market getting worsened by the fact that we are having so many problems regarding geopolitics that has recently arise.

lately the market has been falling and this decline made a lot of people sad and I also thought about cutting losses but I didn't do that because if I sell now it means I lose
so what should be done in my opinion is to hold on and don't panic too much.

The market is in a downtrend, most of the Altcoins asset holders have dropped significantly. When the market is crashing is not a wise time to sell, we will lose only by selling them. I don't think this is the right time to sell altcoins that are filled in wallets anymore. I myself for a time like this are more confident to hold it, the estimated diminishing assets in the wallet does not make me think of selling, because it will lose everything if the future altcoin price continues to improve. Crypto winter is coming, even vitalik buterin confirmed this, I've sold most of my altcoins in Nov/Dec 2021 because i have understood how crypto works every market works seasonally and there is nothing that can stop bear market, if you are still in profit right now I suggest you start changing them to stable coin.

I agree that that is one of the points, "If you are still in profit" and also for me, it depends on what Alts you are holding. If you believe and have a bit of assurance that these Altcoins are good to bounce back, I'd suggest you continue hodling still the market recover cos you might sell now nd the market rebounds hard but if these Alts were initially for higher risk profits, then cut your loss cos some might not make it back if the market happens to go way lower.

If you lost 60% of your portfolio in dollars, that must mean you either invested in real shitcoins or pretty much at the peak of the rally. Both are bad. And unfortunately, that's how it is for many who got caught up in the fomo and were still investing when many experienced investors had already secured their profits long ago. I can only advise you to wait until a bottom is reached. At the moment, there are too many crises, whether Russia-Ukraine or monetary policy. After that, I would get back in and try to make up for the losses. But you must not forget that 60% loss means that you have to make about 120% profits to make up for this loss.

Though I sold and buy back when it was deeper so I tried to make back little profit before the market bounce back. I just used smart techniques to cover up some of my lose alongside the the down trends.

But this rarely works, because you almost never manage to catch the lows at the right time and most of the time it goes wrong. Besides that, there is rarely much left over after taxes for such short-term trades, so long-term hodln is still the best option imho.
