Yeah right. There are lots of coins right now out there compare to what we had 3 years ago. Specially that DeFi sector and NFT projects are emerging. I think when you want to really know about what to buy, buy BTC first. Nahhh don't see the number of coins in Coinmarketcap or Coingecko because that number will just continue to increase since new projects are being created daily.
If that huge number of coins keeps you confusing or you are getting overwhelmed, there is a solution for that and is to just focus on the top coins especially in Bitcoin.

In fact, I personally feel that it should be earlier than that so that they will not be misunderstood and naive later, such as knowing the meaning, purpose and risks in it first.

Maybe there should be a delisting as well there? I mean exchanges do have it, but I am not sure if ranking places have that too? Maybe for some scam projects here and there but I really didn't notice any at all. There are coins with literally under 100 bucks volume per day, that's their volume, and they are listed, why? I was part of a project with around 25k+ dollars daily volume for a short period of time (around first week) and they got listed in 6 different exchanges and of course cmc and gecko both listed that project.

Nowadays it is near zero, there are days with zero volume, and there are days with a few hundred dollars, but that's about it. Why is that still listed? I mean it could totally get delisted from cmc and gecko and it should be reasonable to do so.
