Bitcoin is usually the best choice for Investment however I don't think you should continue to invest in just one project, diversification is a better way to invest so I would also suggest if you cannot invest in Bitcoin which is my best choice, Ada would be good to diversify your portfolio.

LINK is a good project, and I’ll choose to hold LINK but will not buy anymore since the market is very unstable and the price can go deeper.

Today market is still in the bearish era.

Looks like you jumped into the project once the price started rallying, its all time high is $52 and you jumped into the coin at $31, not sure when you jumped in the coin, when the price was going down or during the rally stage. If you invested during the initial stages then you would have made the profit, right now it is impossible to predict because all the coins are going down and only time will tell when the next rally would be.

But the real question should be... why buy altcoins and not focus only in bitcoin?
If you don't have a wider portfolio in crypto...there are many reasons you can trust only bitcoin and not altcoins. if you want gamble your money so try to be luck with your selection ok maybe an altcoins is the best idea but if you want something that "really matters" and you can serious trust you can just buy bitcoin and hodl.

I suggest to stop buying Links at this time as their price isn't showing well. You have accumulated some of them and I think it was enough.
I suggest to buy another coin if you still have the money left for investment as it was wise not just to focus on a single coin, like having 3-5 different coins is really advisable. You already have Link, Ada, you gonna choose another one like BTC, ETH, or BNB for a more secured investment.

Follow your heart, buy Bitcoin and Ada if those coins are on your list. Don't let anyone make decisions for you, especially decisions regarding money matters. Bitcoin is a wise choice and so does Ada too, so just to be sure buy them both and then if ever regret comes, you won't blame us and take it on your own self, it is part of growing up.

Today, the price of LINK is around $13.21.
And we don't know when it will reach its ATH again and we also don't know if this is able to reach its ATH again or not. 
But if we are looking for BTC, this may still have chances, at least for the next bullish era.

This is also good advice because he needs to search for what coin he should buy and not because of hearing other people's suggestions.
Buying bitcoin is a good decision. At least, if he had bitcoin, he could hold and expect to make a profit later and if he bought bitcoin yesterday, he could sell some parts and make a profit.
ADA is also a good coin to buy while the price is still low but I do not know how long he should hold ADA as the market is still unpredictable.
While LINK's price is higher than ADA but I am not sure about the chance for LINK to increase.

All depends on you. Do you think Link will recover and go back to where it was? Then you can invest more in Link to bring down your average buy price and maximize your profit. But, yeah the risk is higher here. So if you want to play safe, then go for coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum. If I were you, I would invest most of my money in bitcoin and then the rest in Link. Or you can invest in ADA if you are willing to hold for long term. Invest and stake them to earn passive rewards while you hold.

It looks like you bought it last year where the price is quite high and expect the price to continue to rise but unfortunately in 2022 the price has decreased continuously without being avoided, if you want to make cutloss it seems too late because you will lose more than 50% of your money, if 1400Euros is idle money then I would prefer to continue holding it.
What is your typical, trader or investor? if investors then you must  keep it for a long period if you are a trader selling with a loss position and switching to another coin but must be with the right calculation, btc is more safer I think than altcoin if you want to switch.

If you push bigger then what is the benefit for you to keep it now, it's not bad indeed the euro, but in my opinion it's better to buy bitcoin, so that the return for you is better, hasn't bitcoin been proven to exist in the market, but if you are able to allocate all three coins At the same time, it's even better for you to hold, so there's nothing wrong with what you're holding right now, it's just that the moment isn't right.

What I will do assuming I am in your position is to lower my entry price by buying with the same amount I bought initially! And if the price continue to drop, I wait for more price price drop and scoop for lower prices! Link is one of the best altcoin, and you can be optimistic that it might recover and possibly increase in price more than it's Ath!

Well, looks like you believe in Link... people who believe in some coin should take advantage of this bearish period and buy more, I agree with you and I also think this is not the bottom, we can see lower prices, so smart would be not to use all the money for buying now... it's what I am doing, I am saving some money for future drops!
By the way, I sold my Link holdings months ago and I don't plan to buy them again... on the other side I have ADA and I am buying whenever I have some money, that should be a long-term investment!

In my opinion, if I had link crypto worth 1400 euros it's already late if I want to cut lose rather than sell my link for 10-13 euros I'm just going to hodl until the new ATH happens again. Also, it's better to increase my holding by using my fresh capital to buy Bitcoin or any top ten Altcoins. If you want me to choose from that three coins I would choose Bitcoin for sure.

If you don't desperate need that money now i woudl definitely not sell those Link that you have already bought becaues the general rule is that the losses that you are having now at the moment are only virtual and they only become reality as soon as you sell those coins, so just keep hodling if possible. To the question if you should buy more Link now or other projects instead that is something where there can't be a clear yes or no answer. I can only say that Chainlink is definitely one of the biggest and best crypto projects out there and i am pretty sure once the bear market is over you will see prices above 30$ per link again. I also think though it is always clever to diversify your portfolio.
