How do I transfer bitcoin from Electrum to CoinKite ColdCard?

I'm a newbie who bought a CoinKite ColdCard and downloaded Electrum 4.1.5 Portable to my desktop.  I then transferred my bitcoin from Kraken, Voyager and Cash App to Electrum and it worked!  Now my issue is with using ColdCard Offline with Electrum.  ColdCard says to create skeleton wallet which I did but Electrum says permission denied and won't import it??  My other question is how do I take the bitcoin stored with Electrum and transfer it to the ColdCard because I think this is the ultimate goal to have offline safe storage?  I'm sorry that I'm not that good technically any help would be greatly appreciated!  I'm working on a Dell computer.

Try to download the Electrum Windows installer then install and don't use the portable one. Let us see if you still get the error?

If the error still popup check your Cold Card version under the upgrade menu if it's up to date if not upgrade it to the latest firmware you can follow the guide from this link below.

For you to transfer Bitcoin, a PSBT file has to be created, exported, and imported properly.
The ColdCard plugin also has to be enabled in your Electrum client.

There is no option to enable coldcard on the Electrum plugin it's enabled by default.

The only problem is he uses the Portable one which doesn't have the Coldcard plugin and other plugins do not work on Electrum portable he should install Electrum or use the Standalone Executable.

No idea really how it works. I have never used ColdCard nor did I need to play around with those types of settings. I was only mentioning some of the points I found important from ColdCard's documentation. If the portable Electrum client doesn't even have the required plugin, the guide should mention that. It could just be another sentence or two informing the readers which version of the app they need to use and which one won't work.
