New market model - IMOs

ICOs were replaced by the current IDOs, and this model has been on the market for a while now. I am sure everybody would have entered the early IDOs if they would have known about their upside potential, that’s why I want to discuss with the group about a new opportunity that is currently rising on the space, the IMOs (Initial Marketing Offering), KOLnet is going to be the first official Polygon project of this nature on the DeFi space, have you heard anything about this? What are your thoughts? I personally believe we are in front of a big opportunity.

I've invested in ICOs and IDOs myself, but honestly, each has its good and bad sides. With IDO projects without fees and without anyone's permission, it is still possible to list transactions on the DEX. However, the IDO slots are limited. So the rate of competition is very high. In general, the profit from IDO is very large, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to access, and there are many additional criteria attached, plus the current space is too crowded with IDO products, which makes shitcoins more and more. The stage there have not been many successful projects from IDO recently, and I think other forms will appear in the future.

I do not read or search for the new model as you mention but if that is the next trend that comes to the market, I am curious if that can explode like the previous trend since the NFT and Metaverse sounds still there and invite more users to join. Maybe before it explodes, you need to search for more info and research about the IMO because who knows, we will have a big opportunity to make a big profit. But as usual, you need to be careful to join on the new trend because that may not successful as previous trends.

ICO, IDO, IMO - doesn't matter whatever comes into the market, the end goal of each method is same. The end goal here is to sell coins to the people to get funding. ICOs were a big thing back in 2017 but failed miserably due to the high rate of scams. Few people who have invested initially in ICOs, made money including me. But majority of the investors have lost money from such investments.

The market is overrunning with thousands of dead coins with no takers. I don't think we need more coins for whatsoever reasons. So even IMO is going to fail as it will introduce a new coin into the highly competitive market where we DON'T need separate coins for separate activities.

These are just the same market model with different names quite literally, at the end of the day the exact things that they are doing are just crowdfunding or basically gathering funds from the masses.
and usually the release of newer market models doesn’t necessarily guarantees a success, most of the time, the bigger investment will just go in an IEO that are being reviewed by rather famous platform.
I guess in the future, despite the new appearances of the newest market models, IEO gonna be the only ones thats gonna be striving because its guarantees quality.
