I don't follow this kind of article and it may possible thing for paid to promote. I have been reading the article and it seems like the article was suggesting the major metaverse project which was totally over valued at this moment. Metaverse coin was good as long as you can go to the reliable metaverse project which has sustainable development progress. it's quite different when you are getting garbage project.
Metaverse is really promising at this moment caused by it's still undervalued due to the bitcoin dump.

No one knows honestly. It will depend on how their journey will be formed and made while on progress. If it's just hype, then you can ride the wave if you understand the risks. It's like the other future trend that we know today wherein no one can predict if it will be successful or not.

My suggestion is to enhance and improve your DYOR.

Then decide if you are willing to risks some money later on.

Most probably it will slowly become the trend, the hype is there but also the purpose of those projects are really good, the technologies are growing so expect for a metaverse to hit the big market soon. I invest some on a good project already, though its not big but I’m still hoping for the good future of Metaverse, those tokens might be good as well so analyze it properly.

the projects mentioned are ENJ, MANA, THETA, SAND & ERN, which you can already find in big exchanges like binance and kucoin. all of them for me are promising, but they will differ on how active their developers are in maintaining and innovating their network. all of them are in the top 100 except the ERN project. but much better if you will explore your opportunities on this metaverse thing, do your own homework and be updated with their progress. because this is where you will get idea where the project is heading to.

there is always the same problem: a new coin a "better" version of what has been already created could be always launched. this is why altcoins should not blindly trusted.
more over most of these coins are managed only with a speculative purpose.
my suggestion is... buy only if you are really using it. speculation is too risky on this field...

The total valuation from whole of metaverse projects are even smaller compared with the combination of marketcap between doge and shiba inu. This means more room growth and metaverse tokens have more possibility to go to the moon soon. You can imagine when those metaverse projects that mentioned in the article will be worth more than 10 billions valuation for any of them.
Im sure the golden time for the metaverse project will come soon. The development needs the time and it can't be done in a night. You must aware if the possibility will always there for the metaverse to be the most profitable coin this year.

For now, invest in what you can afford as I can suggest because no one knows what will happen next it could be hype or it could long last.

Definitely just another hype.  Honestly, this had been around the corner a long time ago and media rides the current spike of the topic to add more hype to it.  But I think the trend will continue but some time in the future the hype will settle down.

The same on other projects that have been trending before and now where are they?  Those DeFi?  NFTs? and more.

Well, they are still around, establishing themselves.  I believe the same thing will happen to Metaverse thingy, they will lose hype but will continue to develop and progress.  After all many investors are always trapped into Trend, new name old concept projects, and hypes.

I didn't even see any tokens or coins that didn't get the hype. In my opinion if any tokens must be hyped before it will be pumped to the moon. You can also see the top coins in the CMC. The top coins in the CMC got very big hype before it will be going to the moon. The only problem is we didn't know when the token related with the metaverse will increase again as it will become a common thing. You must understand if without FOMO and bitcoin will not touch trillion marketcap.

Metavers is a promising token for sure and the only problem is majority of metaverse projects have not yet done with what already promised at the start. This sector needs more time to create the virtual world but I should remind you that if it's not all of projects can be used as investment. Some projects like bloktopia is not worth to invest.
The hype will be around crypto and you can't get the coin that didn't get hype. This will be a disaster if you randomly investing in the metaverse token.
Metaverse token is still promising at this moment. It's very undervalued at this moment.
