I'm sure the metaverse concept is not just hype, but a serious project. Unfortunately, the metaverse project requires major preparation prior to launch and no major metaverse has been launched to date.

Not a project but its like a technology that are new. A project is when there's a new coin came out while hype on the other hand is about excessive promotion. They use metaverse to hype their new projects and the coin that the op mentioned is one of it. It is obvious because of its name but a project do not really need to do all this things if they are knew to themselves that they are great enough because they will still get noticed by the public.

A project may need a major preparation if they are serious but if not, they can just launch it immediately but there are already major metaverse projects before. You can refer on the link given by the op to know them.

They are really a promising project, we’ve seen a lot of good project coming into this market with a hope that they can get investors as much as possible. Metaverse will slowly become a new trend and many project will also adopt this one. As far as I know Facebook becomes the largest company to work with Metaverse, they took the risk because they believe on this kind of network so let’s see if they’ll succeed on this one. ^ Probably it is a part of evolution and even in the gambling industry this metaverse has been raised and no wonder there will be also a metaverse coin that will raise and make hype. It could probably be hype but at least there is a usage, not like meme coin that it is pure hyped which we know how their progress bost too much this year. Metaverse will be big! Mainstream is entering into metaverse picture, and from th elooks of it, it's going to be big.

I watched that game, I just hate that big players controls everything and hopefully it wont happen in our real life metaverse and give freedom to every investors regardless of its value. Metaverse is a huge project, many are already working with this and hopefully, they introduce it into public using a great concept, investing right now can be a good advantage since it is still cheap.

I can't say the metaverse space is all hype now because I've seen some really good projects already which means it's a promising trend that might not be going away anytime soon. What metaverse does really is to take out existing technologies like VR, MR and even AR and then take it to a whole new level while building a reward system that retains players - similar to how the Axie Infinity scholarship program rocked the space.

Just like we have different ico's, defi so also we have different metervase projects, as of now some of them look serious enough to pay attention to while rest of them are not so serious imo, although it is too early to tell, we are still in the early part of 2022 and metervase projects,  you can watchh them to see how they will perform.

Investors have been hunting for the Metaverse where they believe that it will grow rapidly in the future after Facebook introduced it some time ago and now it has become hype many new projects take the metaverse concept but don't know what it really means and that's just selling coins to the market without any metaverse which was actually developed for a new project.

You can make money from there and no one can tell you whether this will become the most profitable coin this year or not. This is also depend on the market. Since bitcoin is recovering again and there's no reason for the price to go down again.

That's a good source but that article was only listing the major tokens. It doesn't try to explore the new tokens from the market.

The truth is that at the moment there are at least several dozen metaverse coins on the market.
The entire metaverse industry is hyped up at this point.
All metavere projects have a chance to be successful, but unfortunately it is still unknown which one will be the best.
I think investing in just one project is too risky. It is best to invest in at least a few metaverse projects to diversify the risk.

I am following The Sandbox and Ethernity Chain in the list provided and i think those are really underrated with the ways they launch the NFT especially Ethernity chain who is collaborating with big sports icons and yet the price of the token is going down which does not make any sense, may be we will see a rally in the future but they are brining in rare drops every month and it is not making any change in the price of the token yet even though it had a rally like every project last year.

Not all metaverse coins are meant to be hyped.

By proper selecting, you can get a sure profit out from investing in it. Don't expect that it's easy and simple to just pick a coin. It needs effort and dedication at your side to know if the project is worth it or not.

Ethernity Chain is a project i am following and their project plan is huge they released authentic NFT Bruce Lee, Messi, Luka Modrić , Shaq, Pelle, Dak Prescott & Zeke Elliott and many others and they keep on launching interesting ones and most of the aNFT can be used in the metaverse. Then another project is Terra Virtua Kolect which focus on movies and books NFT which is an interesting concept and those are underrated as well as it is not reflecting in their token price.

In the long run projects that have a use case where the NFT can be used in the metaverse will survive and i still consider this as the initial steps and in the next 5 years we might see a completely different landscape.

I can't say the metaverse space is all hype now because I've seen some really good projects already which means it's a promising trend that might not be going away anytime soon. The number of horrible money grab projects in metaverse is 100 times more than the actual projects that are worked on. I am not even talking about big ones that will end up being good, I have seen plenty of projects that are so ambitious on what they are trying to do, only like 10% of them would even get close to being done, most others will be horrible and not get done for sure.

However, at the end of the day, even being worked on is a rare thing. So, for every 1000 projects, only 100 of them are really worked on and rest are scams, and out of that 100 there are only 10 that will succeed and only 1 of them will be huge. That is 1 out of 1000 that will be HUGE success. That is a horrible odds, but like you said, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

I can't say anything about whether it will have a good return for crypto money. Because crypto money is constantly evolving and transitioning to different areas in every bull period, and the tokens we have can be garbage. There is only one thing I know, the metaverse will definitely be one of the important technologies of the future. It will play an important role in our life. However, the majority of projects in the cryptocurrency market may not do much work, as they are focused on making money, not technology.
