Yes, by now Canelo is used in moving through different divisions and while making name so I also don't think that he will have some serious struggles or problems moving now, maybe just a slight because he is now adding some more weight before the weigh-in. Nonetheless, he still have 2 long months to prepare about this fight and there's really no need for us to worry about him because we already know the chances.

Bivol is the current champion of the light-heavyweight division that's why Canelo is now again moving across division to snatch that title from him. Even if we say that Bivol has a 20% chance to defeat Canelo, it won't be enough because he's nowhere near Canelo's league and Canelo isn't called a Pound-for-Pound king for nothing.

From what I have read, if Canelo wins this match, and GGG beats his opponent, we have a good chance of seeing a Canelo vs GGG trilogy. Exactly, maybe this is Canelo walking weight for all we know. So he doesn't have to adjust to the weight at this division, he can eat what he wants and then come up at 175 lbs. And he has campaign once at this division as well, so there is no risk as he has done it prior. And he is a former champion at 175 lbs, he just go down to 168 lbs and clean it up to become undisputed.

Cherry picking, this might be in the minds of the haters of Canelo lol. After unifying the belt, his team thought of moving to the cruiserweight but somehow it didn't push through maybe because the water there is dangerous so they are taking the less dangerous route and that is fighting on the light heavyweight division though there is still danger but it is not like in the heavier cruiserweight division.

Canelo is just more popular for those who are not familiar with those top boxers at a much higher tier. Although Canelo has a more chance of winning, I don't think Bivol will give his win easily, or maybe, he might defeat Canelo if things turn favored to him.

Bivol on the other hand won't be a champion if he's soft. He held the WBA light-heavyweight champion since 2017 where he defended it the 8th time already (prior interim). His record also tells us how strong he is.
