He don't have any choice either, he need to make that as his motivation rather than a hindrance and he should be well used to it without thinking any hostile activities outside the ring because chances are that people will only do some verbal actions at him and not the other way around.

Should it be understood from your words that  Canelo's chances of winning will be higher? Although Canelo has more fights and victories (there is also 1 defeat), but Bivol's statistics look better (but there are 3 times fewer fights). Also, Bivol has an advantage in height, and hence the length of his arms. To be honest, I can't even imagine a possible winner and I see the only way to find out is to wait for the scheduled fight, which will determine the strongest.

On the other side, I cannot blame Canelo for avoiding GGG that time as it could stain his record. I mean he cannot afford to lose again from that defeat he suffered from Mayweather, he's building his career to have some legacy in the industry which he did and now that he's already at the peak of his prime, he can now destroy whoever he wanted to fight even if it's GGG.

This one is true I mean we can't really tell the exact reason why Canelo is avoiding to have a trilogy against GGG but he already prove his skills, strength and power against GGG by winning for two times. Though, there are some speculations that Canelo's victory during their fight have some sort of questionable but then I think Canelo now is more focus and looking forward to face new fighters and opponents. Though, I wouldn't disagree that Canelo vs. GGG trilogy will be a good fight to watch for if happen again.

There should be a trilogy between them so that people will stop the discussion based from the controversial fight they had before as they can prove now as who really is the champion. Being booed is already usual for an experienced athlete. Bivol can handle that easily and can't even treat it as a distraction. But to the extent that there's an action from the fans that are too much to handle, that's disrespectful. But like I said, people are not dumb to shift or voiced their disagreement with the ongoing conflict to some athletes as they know not all Russians like the idea of the war.

The bottom line, we should not involve the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine in this fight.

I really agree on this. Trilogy should've happened right after their two controversial fights. Now I hate seeing this old version of GGG moving up in weight for the first time in his career against a prime Canelo. This time I will bet on Canelo stopping GGG. That's why I am hoping for a Bivol upset against Canelo.

Since Canelo left Oscar dela Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions, he is a free agent and until now wanted it this way. This will allow Canelo to fight on any tv networks and promoters. And since he is a superstar and the biggest draw in boxing, this becomes possible. There were only two best offers for Canelo. Both around a hundred million 2 fight deals.

1. DAZN (Matchroom): Move up to light-heavyweight against WBA champion Bivol. And assuming Canelo wins, he will move back down again to super-middleweight for a GGG trilogy.

2. PBC (Showtime and Fox): First fight will be against the undefeated WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo. And if Canelo wins, his next fight will be against another undefeated and ex champion David Benavidez.

If I were to rank these four fighters. I can say Bivol is the most difficult and then the young Benavidez, followed by Charlo. GGG is like the bonus easy money here. Maybe Top Rank (ESPN) who handles light-heavyweight lineal, IBF and WBC champion Artur Beterbiev cannot compete with DAZN and PBC offers. But I still believe that Canelo will really want to unify with Beterbiev next year unless Top Rank and ESPN cannot afford his purse demand. The undefeated Beterbiev will be turning 38 next year though so I think Bivol is really the deadliest at light-heayweight.

What I can say is that Bivol is not an easy opponent that Canelo can deal with and aside from the fact the he is the champion in this division and more familiar, he can give an entertaining fight that Canelo wanted. the latter chose him for a reason because he is the most challenging boxer in the league now that within his weight reach. Nevertheless, Canelo can always find that weakness on Bivol somewhere in the middle rounds after he is done watching and observing him and that's where Bivol should watch out.
