I want to claim my bitcoin SV fork and maybe sell it to an exchange for btc or usdt and then withdraw to my nano ledger hardware wallet.

The thing is I do not believe I am allowed to have accounts in any of these exchanges due to my location.

But do they require KYC?  Can I use vpn on it?  I remember not long ago, I could still use binance for a while and wasn't verified and they allowed up to 2 btc withdraw limit which is beyond more than enough for me since I only had a small amount to withdraw from binance.  I'm an American citizen but I'm outside the US quite a bit and binance no longer allows US citizens regardless of where they are located.  The only thing was I never logged into my binance account while I was in the US so binance never detected me since I never gave my KYC and always connected with a nonUS ip address.  I did not need to use a vpn either because of it.  But then they required everyone to KYC so I could no longer use binance.

Can anyone tell me if either of these exchanges allow me to deposit Bitcoin SV and trade it for btc or usdt and then withdraw without KYC?

Or regardless of the amount, i have to submit KYC?  My issue with KYC is I don't believe they would accept me due to my location and citizenship.  Could I bypass this though?

I have heard of Kucoin, FTX recently, but I do not use both. I asked on this forum when I want to register on OKX to know about there pros and cons, people can withdraw 10 BTC without KYC, you can check the thread.

OKEX (OKX) exchange good?

I have just checked if the exchange (OKX) support BSV, they support it. Bitcoin withdrawal fee on OKX is 0.0005 BTC.

I guess you are from US, but you are not residing in US for now, so it would work.

I've been using KuCoin for several months now and haven't had any problems even though they don't allow my country to use their site, you need to use a trusted and paid VPN and make sure there is no leak.

according to https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-sv/markets/ SV is listed on Coinmarketcap you can use it now.

OKEX (OKX) is good if  you dont want to use kucoin.

You can use KuCoin without KYC but the withdrawal limit is limited to 1BTC. Be careful using Huobi Global I heard some users suspend or freeze their account after withdrawing a big amount.

Alternatively, you can use Coinex exchange you can use it without KYC verification I'm using it for almost a year just make sure to keep in mind how you set up your account there because if you are going to recover it they will include it on the account recovery process. And take note Coinex exchange is owned by ViaBTC which is a well-known pool here on the forum.

Ugh.  I started using them recently for small altcoin trades because they list a bunch of obscure ones, and I've had a horrible experience so far.  I've had deposits not show up in my account well after the minimum number of confirmations several times as well as not being able to withdraw coins, though each time the problem was resolved after submitting a ticket.  Compared to Kucoin, they're as bad as Yobit (but only if you compared them to Yobit, mind you).

And yeah OP, Kucoin doesn't require KYC if you're just trading altcoins/bitcoin.  Out of all the exchanges you mentioned I'd say they're the most reputable by far.  I haven't used Huobi or Gate.io, however.

I have used KuCoin just a few days back and they allow withdrawal without KYC. I had been trading for a few days there and withdraw funds from there. So you may try there, just try with small funds first to check if everything works fine.

On the other hand, if you have too many problems and are worried about them then you can check the forum currency exchange section. Likely you may need a bit higher compensation due to the escrow fee. Dealing without escrow is a high risk on the forum, keep it in mind.

It does, but they are not yet strict.

For example, my Country is one of those that are in Kucoin's blacklist, but I still use the platform to make small exchanges and withdrawals. I can not however perform other things that require KYC like p2p trading and buying crypto using fiat.

Avoid VPN when you use exchanges, they'd find it suspicious and might instead ask for more than KYC documents like a video call. Most exchanges today require KYC, not a single one I know doesn't. For user who has no big amount of BTC, they don't ask but having a big amount of BTC to withdraw, they will ask.

To those of you with no issue with kucoin and trading and withdrawing without KYC... are you US citizen or using it from the US though?

Is the local exchange in your country somewhat among your personal list of a no-go exchanges? There are DEX, I'm just not sure if you could claim BSV there.

No issues like that whatsoever when it comes to Kucoin (at least not yet) and I am from Europe, Croatia. Regarding Gate, they do ask for KYC so that's not a good option for you then. Another good option might be FTX as its reputable exchange (they are kinds what Binance used to be couple of years ago) but the only problem is low withdrawal limit of only 2000 USD per day. If it's a one time thing, BrainbossXchange might better suit you, try to see if they can help. This way, you'll be reducing a huge amount of risk on your part.

Update: You can now exchange your cryptocurrency to any desired coin or stablecoins of your choice provides they're listed on Binance exchange or other top exchange with liquidity.

Also, take note that gate.io requires KYC in order to withdraw anything.

...Gate.io makes it mandatory that all users obtain KYC ID Verification. Only after your account has obtained KYC ID verification, can you withdraw funds, use credit cards or debit cards to buy cryptocurrencies and to participate in Startup projects.
