That’s a rule. Always separate personal feelings from business. Your story indicates you only talk to this person on the internet. The relationship wasn’t real, just another online dating scam. Never trust anyone you meet online they could be pretending to be someone they are not.

Well, i guess this was an online relationship, it is nothing unusual and fiat has been used to pepetrate this scam for a very long time, something very similar to the "princess scam". why would one even believe the story someone tells them over the internet, there has to be a level of interest in it for them, and by extension Greed, thus the end product is loss of funds.

I would not even relate this to emotion, it is sheer greed, the scammer would just basically try to create a relationship with you, but they are smart to know that is not enough, then they proceed to making you an offer, promises of you both making money together, and that is were people fall, how can you invest in a company you are not sure exists, just based on promises, that is way too easy to fall.

In my opinion the only lesson to learn here is: anything that is too good to be true, is a scam, and any offer for you to deposit some money to get a certain percentage later is a scam.

You can be in a relationship but the person only wanted to scam you, the person can even be a man but communicating to you as a girl. This type of scam is common, the scammer can request for either fiat or crypto to scam you. If you pay, the money is gone and he will request for more.

Learning something should have no limit to satisfaction. If you managed to escape today from the trap of scammers, maybe not tomorrow. Scammers will always change their methods if the case has been heavily exposed. I agree that this fraud case is based on greed rather than emotional factors in the relationship. When speaking of high nominals, with greed people can be carried away even though it is offered through meme images.

Romance/love scam. A very popular scam on the internet these days, I guess that "lady" have messaged you randomly and you got attracted because of that gesture made by the scammer. It's not only limited to the crypto market but it has mostly started on fiat scam. They'll just keep asking for money to you to be sent to them because they needed this and that. And you, falling in love, you're like a blind follower and hypnotized person that will just follow their instructions. @OP, does it mean that you've sent the scammer $50k for real? Honestly about your suggestion about business and relationship, many are okay with that setup and it's not a problem at all. It's just that you've been a victim of this love scam.

OP no one have good intent for you when they text you or PM you first, it's better not to listen to anyone than giving them a chance because what they are about to say might get you good, every first PM from strangers are scammers trying to get the best of you, if you are using telegram change your settings to never receive any PM.

I don't know maybe you meet the girl online or offline, because anybody I meet online I don't trust them, I always believe anybody I meet online is a scammer so am alway cautious whenever am dealing with them, I don't care about the gender you are. I believe the idea of joining your relationship  with your money is a really bad idea. Those are wise lessons to learn, but in the end, we are all human, and emotion is one of our primary triggers. So we can't really save ourselves from that. We can at least be aware of it and work with it in mind, not putting all of our eggs into one basket and moving slowly, and rationally as much as possible. And not to be hard on ourselves when things like this happen, because they will and all we can do is learn from it.

Since you now have the experience of dealing with scammers who take advantage of such emotion, you now have the responsibility of at least letting others know on how such scam operates in this field.

Again, like other similar scams, any person, who is a stranger, that asks for a hefty sum of money for 'investment purposes' should always raise a red flag about their authenticity. If they keep on asking for more money without even providing any actual results or data, this should trigger and alert you that one might be actually a scam on your end.

From normal life living no one is advice to run a business with relationship and especially your lover one that haven't be officially pronounce as a wife to your house hold, the ethics of business is the ability of business elevation or acceleration via its control that will leads to its propagation, if really you wants your business to grow don't bring second party or entrust your business to any one, op what really made you to blame your relationship is blind love, which you haven't reason the outcome of the progress of your business before engaging yourself into trust..this is nice lesson to everyone.

You're lucky it only took you a year and only $50k to figure out what it was about because it took some 15 years and more than ten times as much money to figure it out. If you have some concrete evidence and you are not ashamed to go to the police, you may still have a chance to get your money back.
