Binance is setting an example for other major exchanges and crypto projects, they have been doing this corporate social responsibility (CSR) from long time and this is what makes them standout amongst other competitors. Not only Binance is helping the right moment but also setting example that crypto can be handy and best medium to help during crisis and this bring entire crypto domain to mainstream, even those who were against crypto and trying to ban it got a lesson that there are positive side of crypto as well which will only make this world a better place. Entire crypto ecosystem should learn from Binance on this.

NOW THIS is the way to go. Not by blocking some innocent individuals who have nothing to do with Putin and may even have voluntarily gone to Gulag for two weeks for protesting. THIS is how we show solidarity, not by finding someone to point our fingers at. Not the arrogant sanctions on anyone who says the wrong thing at the wrong time. At this point from someone living close to all this, i don't like to think this as PR move for greasing any politicians positive views on crypto. But act of kindness and something that's right thing to do. At time like this i am not so much thinking profits either. Sure, i could have made a ton by shorting but making money out of a war just seemed too dirty for my taste.

Big companies like Binance would easily be known on making such activity specially on something like this but you dont know that there are companies which do make out some donations

It was been applied on a real or actual situation even though we dont like war but there are things which could be hardly to stop and on situation like this then we have seen on how relevant into its existence.

Binance announced on Twitter that they're donating $10 million to express their support with Ukraine. They are now gathering donations for the Ukraine Emergency Relief Fund here. The usage of cryptocurrencies and crypto businesses are starting to become relevant in the ongoing Russian invasion. Fewer and fewer areas are holding their apolitical stance, even if they used to be apolitical before. I wonder who will be next. It's interesting how Buterin will react, given that he's originally from Russia.

According to the reports I read, the $10 million donated by Binance is humanitarian, for the suffering people in Ukraine, and the donated emergency relief fund is not aimed at the military.

They are on neutral phase which they had made out some $10 Million donation to UK but also they hadnt imposed any blocking on Russian users either into their platform which

Binance is the number no 1 exchange in the world and they can afford this much amount of donation as they are earning a lot of money.. Binance have joined with many time donation from Covid 19 until donating to Ukraine after getting war invasion from Russia, most trusted and large exchange in the world I think Binance have much profit each year and donating  $10 million to support Ukraine is not hard. I have the same perspective, mate. I believe all of these are just act of kindness and generosity for those people who are affected by the war between Russia and Ukraine. This is a good initiative done by Binance because that's a hefty amount and can really help buy the things needed for those people residing in the war zone or anywhere near it.

In addition, this will be of great benefit to rebuilt the houses and the city itself once all of these conflicts are over. It can be used to rebuilt the damaged and broken shelters and can power the evacuation sites while the war is still happening. Hopefully, this will soon be over and peace will prevail in the end.

This sounds very funny. You are a trader and you see an opportunity to trade into profit and you are not taking it because you believe we are in a war? Am laughing at that. But do you realize that anytime you make profit from trading that you are making someone else sorrowful because they have to lose for you to profit, whether in a war or not? I'm sorry, but are you saying you're sure that the future of Russia and Ukraine will be united? As a Ukrainian (and actually one of the more calm and forgiving ones), I can assure you that the future will not be united. If it were just a war that Russia led roughly in accordance with the rules of war (targeting military targets, ensuring people on temporarily occupied territories receive food, medicine and are safe, etc.), it would be one thing. We'd still fight and still aim to win the war, but some sympathy toward Russian citizens was potentially out there. But after the Bucha massacre, after several big and many small seriously destroyed cities, after lots of cases of rape and torture, and after Mariupol, it is not possible to be united, even if the government in Russia changes radically. It is a genocide of our nation, and genocide is not something after which you easily become friends with those who committed it and those who didn't stop it from happening.
We won't seek revenge and won't invade Russia to inflict similar pain upon them. Because we aim to remain humans, not to lose our own humanity over all this. But we won't be friends and won't be united in anything with Russia, certainly not for decades to come.
