Definitely great move of binance cz, as they are always trustworthy & now showing humanities by helping ukranians and this helps to make bitcoin & whole crypto market get promoted before whole world along with his organisation.
I saw Buterin tweets, he is Against this war and sharing tweets and ask for help for ukranians. Currently i notice, 245.03 btc fund raised by binance which is around worth $10M, for their another charity project for " Humanity First - Ukraine Emergency". Sure, it will definitely share perfectly to the citizens of Ukraine, since binance team are the one  that donated the $10m to help Ukraine government for the hardship they are going through in the country. I believe their president will make sure the money affect everyone in the country, so that it will make some youths to have more interest on bitcoin and binance in the country. With this help Ukraine government has gotten from decentralized team, it will make them to believe decentralized currency is real and it's good for every country to make it legalized so that they will feel more impact about cryptocurrency in their land.

As a Ukrainian (and actually one of the more calm and forgiving ones), I can assure you that the future will not be united. If it were just a war that Russia led roughly in accordance with the rules of war (targeting military targets, ensuring people on temporarily occupied territories receive food, medicine and are safe, etc.), it would be one thing. We'd still fight and still aim to win the war, but some sympathy toward Russian citizens was potentially out there. But after the Bucha massacre, after several big and many small seriously destroyed cities, after lots of cases of rape and torture, and after Mariupol, it is not possible to be united, even if the government in Russia changes radically. It is a genocide of our nation, and genocide is not something after which you easily become friends with those who committed it and those who didn't stop it from happening.
We won't seek revenge and won't invade Russia to inflict similar pain upon them. Because we aim to remain humans, not to lose our own humanity over all this. But we won't be friends and won't be united in anything with Russia, certainly not for decades to come.

I realize, and am sorry for what you are feeling right now, about the cruelty, injustice, and what happened in the past, supply needs and what must be addressed. This sounds very funny. You are a trader and you see an opportunity to trade into profit and you are not taking it because you believe we are in a war? Am laughing at that. Even if they do like 5% of all their trading fee income going to Ukraine, they would have raised more than 10 million dollars for sure.

I am not saying that they donated a little, of course they donated a good amount and kudos to them, however we all know they would have donated a lot more if given the chance. It's not that difficult to do this, some exchanges with minorities or even the elite class to accompany what Binance is doing, humanitarian actions in the name of caring.

It is not the difficulty but the gesture of giving for a cause and that too $10 million is a huge number by any means. Personally i am not a huge fan of Changpeng Zhao but i liked what he did with the support to Ukraine.

Binance have done good to both the countries. To Ukraine it have donated good amount for the immediate needs of the people. When it comes to Russia, a small group of people support war whereas the majority are against war. Considering this Binance haven't stopped the services from Russia.

Today one of the crypto trading platform Currency.com have stopped its services for Russia following the invasion of Ukraine causing violence and disorder. Russian residents won't be able to have access to the services.

Some do even make out some criticism that this move was just a marketing or some boost up for the companies exposure or popularity which is totally bullshit but somewhat there are some points
with those presumptions but if we do look up on the history about charitable acts made by Binance then we could really say that this is something not in related with those kind of behind the curtain

Where do you think these donation funds are going? For sure they are going to the Ukraine governments. The destruction in the UKraine is massive as most of the money is spent on the people and health. There is no development / repair of the buildings etc has started yet.

Do you know, that despite a donation, Binance is launching crypto card for Ukrainian refugees ? I cant tell what will be differences between process of obtaining current card and refugee card, but I hope it wont be complicated or will have limitations, compared to a regular card. I suppose, KYC procedure might be simpler. I am sure refugees not going to be released from KYC, because some will use it for cheating or in cashing out schemes.

Whoever it would be, he has some eyes on him because charity funds should be transparent so that the donators are at ease about their donations because we already know how people turn into something you don't expect when they see lots of money in front of them. I heard a phrase which I really liked, it's that Russian global politics is based on national insecurity. So basically, Russia assumes that it, the largest country in the world and the largest nuclear power in the world, will be invaded by its neighbors if its borders aren't militarized enough and if its neighbors have the technical capability to invade it. But that's not how the 21st century world works! It's actually Russia that keeps invading other countries over alleged concerns around its own safety (Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine in 2014 and in 2022), while not facing any real threat. Ukraine did not invade and never intended to invade Russia, and neither do any other countries on Russia's Western borders. And Ukraine just has a right to exist, you know, and live its own life, but Russia doesn't think so.

Actually, the funds are not going to the government, as the government would surely spend at least some of it on weapons, and Binance only supports the humanitarian cause. That being said, they did donate to Palianytsia, and this organization's website says all profits go to the Ukrainian Army It's funny how earlier donations say 'humanitarian aid', but the most recent ones do not.
I'm also glad to see that the International Committee of the Red Cross is not on the list, though, as after their solicitation with deportations of people from Ukraine and intentions to open a center to deal with Ukrainian refugees in Russia, Ukraine is asking people not to donate money to them.

You should not compare investment and philanthropy, it has nothing to do with each other. To be honest, Binance has no obligation to support or give charity to Ukraine, it comes from human benevolence and charity is arbitrary and should not be requested.

Money they earn is because they work hard and keep trying, to get it they have to trade with sweat, tears, even blood. Like you, you are where you are today because you have done things that others have never done. when you earn money do you need someone to show you how to spend money?.

I am also fully confident that the next few generations of Ukrainians who have seen the current atrocities of Russian soldiers who tortured and shot civilians for being Ukrainians will no longer be able to relate well to the Russian people as a whole. This is not forgiven. The Russian military showed themselves in Ukraine to the civilian population much worse than even the Nazis. Therefore, already now in Ukraine there is a growing movement for the rejection of everything Russian: their culture, language, monuments, names of cities and streets that are somehow connected with the aggressor country.
Putin made a strategic mistake. He will not be able to subdue the Ukrainians, and the current displayed cruelty will finally separate these two peoples. Over time, having joined the European Union, the people of Ukraine will no longer want to look in the direction of Russia if it has not yet fallen to pieces by then.
