US is supporting bitcoin and other decentralized cryptocurrencies. Only US has over 30000 bitcoin ATMs. But just that US citizens may not be able to make use of centralized exchanges and centralized wallets that are not having their company located in US.

yes, that's very true. just think about who are those donating to ukraine. without a doubt, they are not from NK, China or Syria. or there may be people donating from these countries but majority will be outside from these countries.
also, even if US does not support crypto, its people will do what they want to do just like donating to Ukraine because they can. they don't need to ask their government before they can donate, right? so it is their freewill to donate.

Everything is ok and fed is also planning to adopt bitcoin. It takes some time but in that time they prepare everything for their adoption.

My intention is not to hurt anyone but the crypto experts are on the idea that the upcoming decision of FED will have effects on crypto.

Other news which I heard today is here which increased my worry.

“We believe Washington is worried that Russia will use crypto to evade sanctions,” Cowen analyst Jaret Seiberg said Friday. “If Russia is able to use crypto this way, then we believe political support in the U.S. for crypto will fall and regulatory risk will rise.”

USA has nothing against crypto. It added an ETF and it supports many jobs for big companies like Coinbase or Gemini. The fact that donations to Ukraine were made by crypto won’t change the legal stance on cryptos by countries. It’s a great gesture and already around $15M was raised so far.

Hopefully these funds will go in the right hands however. With donations you never know where it goes. However Vitalik confirmed the addresses and it will indeed go to the government and whether it’s to buy weapons or food for the hungry is most likely where it will go.

since the beginning the US has never banned crypto in their country. they only regulate to protect their economy and currency, but if viewed broadly the US plays an important role in the global crypto economy

If US is strict with crypto, they should have banned already those crypto exchanges that are operating on their jurisdiction. Despite the good use that crypto is demonstrating for Ukraine and maybe in Russia as well. USA can just say the gray area of it if they don't like it. But they cannot change the fact that the world has already known that crypto donations have been helping Ukraine. That's a fact that they cannot change and it has raised a lot of money already and just like what adaseb has said, hopefully it goes to where it should be for correct usage.

Well, a lot of Ukrainians or other scammers are already exploiting this situation to enrich themselves. Go onto TiKtok Live and you will see old videos being looped to cash in on gifts that are send by gullible people that are thinking that it is Life footage. 

I hope the people receiving these donations are actually people that are verified and that the funds will be going towards the correct cause and not into individuals pockets. 

Why should this give the US any reason to accept Bitcoin, if Russia are using Bitcoin and Crypto currencies to bypass the financial sanctions that are implemented against them? (SWIFT blocking)

Regardless of which country are going to support Bitcoin, you don't need to worry about it. USA is one of the strongest country in the world no doubt about it. But even if they don't accept crypto, the market will still thrive in the future.

The world existed for a long time without crypto, the world can continue to exist into the future without crypto - that is the answer to your question. Instead of implying that they need to support it, accept that regulation will eventually be brought in and that will hopefully see it more prominently compete with national currencies. Cryptocurrencies are still a fringe commodity at the moment and the value behind them could disappear tomorrow with relatively little impact to the world economy - sure lots of individuals might lose significant amounts, but then 99%+ of people never have regular transactions through this system of payment.

What they should prioritize right now is the asylum of Ukrainian refugees because if the worst thing ever happens and Russia takes over Ukraine, the people of Ukraine are going to starve and we might see another Holodomor, it happened before and it's unlikely that it won't happen again because we never learn from our history. After the evacuation, the next one should be military aide like advance weapon systems and intel gathering and supplies both in food and ammunitions. The financial stuff can wait.

The internet in myanmar was shutdown during their last military crisis. Its possible russia could seek to shutdown the internet in ukraine, which could cut off banking services and crypto.

It could be worthwhile for ukraine to invest in satellite based internet service such as starlink, which cannot be shut down as easily.

The united states is currently in a state of conflict with cryptocurrencies. There are some states like texas which have large scale crypto mining operations fueled by newly constructed wind farms. These US states trend towards being pro crypto. While other US states lean in the opposite direction. The federal government could try to force crypto regulation but I think some individual US states might resist. It could turn into a state sovereignty issue.

Parts of the US support crypto, while other parts do not. Which tends to complicate matters.

Regardless of which country are going to support Bitcoin, you don't need to worry about it. USA is one of the strongest country in the world no doubt about it. But even if they don't accept crypto, the market will still thrive in the future.

Cryptocurrency exchanges are already legal in USA, but cryptos are not accepted there as a legal tender. So OP, USA is already supporting crypto and they are even looking forward to regulate it. I think so far, crypto donations from all over the world has reached already $13 million and this will be intended to help Ukraine armed forces, and the rest will cover for the food and shelter of the Ukraine citizens.
