Sorry for being picky with the wording but for someone who may not be willing to read that the campaign already started 1 week ago may understand that the campaign will continue - as of today - for 3 weeks which isn't correct. To clarify (anyone is free to correct me if I'm wrong) :

• Campaign started on 21th of March - Week 12
• Confirmed to run at least until 11th of April - Week 15

- Don't spam. Post made after page 5 we usually consider as a spam. We can accept no more than 10% posts of weekly post quota (for example 2-3 of 25), if posts are written after page 5.

There are many kinds of big topics, implementing such a rule might not make sense. Not all large topics are spam.

For example, in the Portuguese tab there is a topic dedicated to books, and another dedicated to movies. These are topics that over time have become big, but it's not spam, because it talks about several books and movies. Let's say it's a mini book or movie club.

I believe that icopress, when giving this alert, is because it must have in mind some topic or some users in specific.

This is true. We have similar topics in the Croatian board. We have topics for certain blockchains (like Ethereum, Solana...) and all stuff that matters oke of that topics is being discussed in those large threads. That doesn't mean it's spam.

Lol, I didn't want to open a debate about this. It's just a suggestion and icopress will do what makes the most sense to him.

I agree that not all megathreads are spam, this one for example is not:

[Mar 2022] Mempool empty! Use this opportunity to Consolidate your small inputs!

And Best Change doesn't think so either, that's why they pay for some posts on megathreads, and with that rule they are known as a campaign with high quality posters.

If the content of the topic, regardless of its size, is content with quality and updated, the advertising presented is always an opportunity to promote the product.

Maybe someone could show me a statistical analysis to the contrary, but if I were an entrepreneur putting advertising on the forum, what I would be looking for above all is people who create threads and publish posts on the first pages. That's where the advertising is going to have the most impact on my potential customers.

The avatar rule was a response to this campaign specifically (since I never thought I'd need it to be honest), but the removal of inactive people was something I would have done regardless.

I just think there are all sorts of big topics. And so they shouldn't all be handled in the same way.

Returning to the example I gave, a topic about books. The OP turns out to be irrelevant, because each new post is about a new book or a comment on another. It doesn't matter who does it.
