I've been working in airdrop for a long time, it was very difficult to work at first because I didn't understand anything, one of them being to give the wallet address correctly, so for beginners who want to work in the airdrop, it is essential to do the following things properly.

How to enter addresses from Trust Wallet to join Airdrop and other addresses:

1. If you want ETH (ERC-20), please enter Ethereum (ETH) from trust wallet.

2. If you want BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) (BSC), give the address of BNB Smart Chain from Trust Wallet.

Note: If you use trust wallet, then the above two addresses will be👆 the same.

There are two BNBs in the trust wallet. One of them is just BNB, another BNB Smart Chain, Bep-20 and BSC means BNB Smart Chain. When you only mention BNB, you will give the BNB address, but when you want (BNB Smart Chain) or (BSC) or (BEP-20), you will give the (BEP-20) address.
Another thing, in the trust wallet, you will see that the addresses of (ERC-20) and (BEP-20) are the same. Concerning BEP-20, BSC, ERC-20, Ethereum address should be given.

3. (TRC-20) You will provide the Tron/TRX address from the Trust Wallet.

For ETH (HRC20) or HT/HECO/Huobi Eco Chain, the Haubi Eco Chain of TokenPocket can be created.

Just want to add few things for the new users of trust wallet app, when want to paste your airdrop link in your trust wallet app you click on the DApps it is located at the bottom line of your app then you click on it and paste your airdrop link on the search area then search and also remember to change your prefer network as shown to you above by musafar37

This is why I like metamask wallet, it supports all available chains in crypto space either ETH BSC Matic RSK and others, just drop your same ETH address and you are set, to see your tokens you only need to change the chain networks, easy as ABC.

It doesn't mean only on trust wallet both of ETH and BSC will be same, it depends on the private key. A same private key will generate same address for ETH and BSC on any wallet support that chain.

This is why I like metamask wallet, it supports all available chains in crypto space either ETH BSC Matic RSK and others, just drop your same ETH address and you are set, to see your tokens you only need to change the chain networks, easy as ABC.
You need to add those chains to Metamask first, otherwise you can't use it and prevent from lose (sending to wrong address). Configure the wallet, click add network and fill the information about specific chain you want to add, you can googled it.

Your advice is good for beginners but I don't recommend that you share the same ETH/BSC address to many airdrops, those are the ones that have your coins and you use them personally so it's best to set up a dedicated wallet for each BSC airdrop and choose the best one for ethereum one.

Using a trust wallet may be appropriate, but it is closed source, so it is better to use an open source wallet like NEW wallet[1] or MetaMask[2].

Using the wrong address may not mean that you completely waste your money, and you should not share your private key with anyone.

This is true OP. If you are fond of airdrops. Used your wallet assigned for that. Segregate as much as possible the wallet for trading or own personal wallet from the airdrop addresses. Its important also to protect yourself from such scams or lousy scammer targeting wallet for money or hacking. This is inevitable so must be cautious at all times. Dont let scammer connect into your direct funds via airdrop.
