Just to clarify so there are no surprises. The roughly $2000 spot prices will be added to the final bid?

Might have to re-run this one Mopar. Based on the way the high bidder bid. He may bail. He bid right to spot price.

Just a suggestion for post like this for now and in future, please do highlight the extra payments other than bid amounts for the buyers that are interested in bidding to avoid confusion. Not sure even the other guy who increased the bids on page-1 realized that the spot prices will be added on top of auction price.. Yes, I know everyone should go thru all the details but it's just helpful.. Smiley Smiley

It is in caps and follows the starting bid amount - but yes, everyone should read the full listing before bidding.

The listing is clear in what the bid was and how The price would be obtained. This is and was done no differently than many other auctions that had a spot price involved or where the loading of an item was separate from the bid.

to be clear and transparent - due to all the, now mostly deleted, comments about how bidders were not aware of the "+spot" price and that one bidder bid and then retracted bid because of this, the winner was given the option to retract their bid in an attempt to be fair.

I am now faced with a dilemma of relisting the item or honoring the next bid which was .003 btc - which would in my opinion be both the most fair and unfair thing to do at the same time.

I will deliberate what to do and decide tomorrow.
