Why does Binance not freeze Russian crypto assets?

Ukraine has a call to freeze the Russian and Belarus-based crypto accounts on the popular cryptocurrency exchanges. Binance has stated it is not freezing crypto accounts from Russia. Cryptocurrency is designed to provide the freedom for economic transactions for the users. Whereas freezing the accounts may demolish the basic concept of cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency exchanges like Binance and Kraken are not freezing the Russian crypto accounts.
