Indicators help short and mid-term traders, without them, I am not sure they can't make any profit! But to be able to follow all the indicators on daily basis requires time, something I don't have! So I am more focused on big cycles and long-term trades, and it's not so hard to roll with it if you have patience!

People should be free to try everything they can! I tried many things and I had many losses before I found what works for me! We are so different, with different thinking and possibilities/opportunities, so each of us should try things around and find what works best for us! I found myself, and the road to this wasn't easy!

Well, I don't know whether to take it as an indicator or not, but I think that the volume may be the indicator that gives us the most information. I have a friend who likes to go into small excahnges because he says that he sees or is able to determine when a whale begins to make his movenmtno bullish in an altcoin, so at that moment he enters buying and what he does is wait, and most of the time he wins, he says that the whales as they are with so much money, do not enter at once with everything, but they they come in with some money in a big way and this is reflected in the volume, and when he sees those unusual moves the volume comes in.

Well, I don't know whether to take it as an indicator or not, but I think that the volume may be the indicator that gives us the most information. There are things which are other traders do able to see and others which cannot where i could really attest to that and same as your own experience and able to observe on which there are people whom do only base or just by looking with the volume which is usually in low caps or even on those coins which prices are already on the floor for long time and with some additional indicators or tools been used which would justify their analysis then this is the time that they would make out some significant move.On asking out if its really helpful to make use of trading indicators then its definitely yes, because you cant just rely on news and
fundamentals alone which cant really be there from time to time therefore you would really be going into other aspects which would really be that relevant for you to make use.

instead of using colourful indicators we can use just simple but very powerful indicators which shows the correct data. most of you know most of them such as

These are good indicators to use check market trend and confirm trades. I have used almost all of these indicators in in the past and Moving Average and Bollinger Bands was one of the popular indicators then we were using to trade. Many of these indicators are serving the same purpose and mixing them with others do make trade confirmation to be easy and straightforward.
Depending on only indicators to trade might give lot of lagging results that could lead to loses.

This is the easiest indicator to understand, and I find it quite accurate. With this indicator, at least in the short term, we can determine whether the market is overbought or oversold. Traders typically use these points to place new entries. I do it too, and I learned this from someone. But my approach is to wait for the overbought/sold level to be broken, and to determine whether it's at the strongest support or resistance level. I'll wait for some market confirmation before making a decision on whether to enter. This way, I can avoid some risk of loss. For me personally, trading indicators are a simplified approximation of chaotic price movement. The lines on an indicator give us a clear way to forecast the trend. And as you mentioned, something like the RSI is great for predicting reversal points.

To detect a trend, I use a volatility indicator, and for spotting reversals, I use Bollinger Bands

Yeah, indicators can help but people need to understand they are more like assistants not the main driver of your trade if you build your whole strategy on indicators without knowing how price really moves you will always end up second guessing yourself and chasing signals that fail.

The problem is a lot of beginners download every free indicator they see thinking more colors and more signals will make them profitable when in reality it just makes the chart messy and your head even more confused the best traders usually keep things simple one or two indicators max and combine them with clear price action. Price action tells you the story of the market it shows you who is in control buyers or sellers and where the next possible move might be indicators can then back up that story but they will never replace raw understanding of the market.

Another thing people ignore is risk management even with the best indicator setup you will lose sometimes and if you don’t have discipline with stop losses and lot sizes then one loss can wipe out all your wins being profitable is less about finding a magic indicator and more about managing your trades and emotions. So yeah, indicators have their place but they should never be the center of your strategy they are just a support tool the real edge comes from knowledge patience and discipline.

They are not useless at all, just because they can be wrong sometimes, doesn't mean they are useless. That is why we should be considering them as a profitable and a good idea. I get that it is not always a big deal, but sometimes you have to consider this as something that can benefit us, and could make us a lot better results. Not that we need to, we need to realize that not all indicators are great, and when we find something that is great, then we need to fine tune it and that way we could make some money from it.

This is why indicators are great but not that much of a trouble if they are not careful because they can learn to use them a lot better and eventually they can get a lot better results without a trouble.

I am facing a lot of losses on my trading platform today because I cannot analyze trading very well.
