Other valid and serious forums about Altcoins?

Hi everyone, I'm wondering if there are other forums about crypto world that talk about Altcoins, where they discuss presale events or other kind of stuff like this one.

Can you please tell me if there are and which ones are the best?
I would also appreciate your thoughts about them!

There is no forum so far that is a ahead of bitcointalk.org as we are on it. This forum is well organized and largest. The boards are easily understandable. You have all you can get here and  scam is not encouraged here. You can discuss presale, ICO etc plus bounty and signature campaigns are advantage. However I use to know about few of them but I don't know how far they are doing now. Some of such are cryptotalksworld.org. also bitcoingarden.org. You can search more for yourself.

Do you mean a cryptocurrency forum that discusses Alt coins in general or are you talking about a particular cryptocurrency? If there is a particular cryptocurrency that you would like to be getting information about, then you would have to join their telegram group or follow them up on discord.

So far I don’t think that I have seen any other forum where they discuss about alternative cryptocurrencies in general, it is mainly bitcointalk.org forum that I come to get information about altcoins. Maybe you can try checking on reddit.com, there are some subreddits that are dedicated to discussion about altcoins.

Try altcoinstalk or reddit but most of the time I looked in social media specifically Twitter about altcoins but its more like the announcement and there's no serious discussion about it. The most suitable for discussion is the reddit and altcoinstalk which is more like bitcointalk but focuses on altcoins.

I am wondering why you are not considering bitcointalk to be one of them. Is it because people here are critical about altcoins and the usual consensus is buy Bitcoin, dump altcoins? In that case you are suffering from lack of confirmation bias. You may be someone who is investing or have invested in an altcoin but is lacking faith in holding that coin for the long term.

If you are just looking for information and research on new projects than no forum is sufficient. You have learn to do that on your own. The forum can only be an announcer of newly launched projects not a determinant of what is profitable and what not.

Even then 99% of altcoins are scams and failures. So you have to watch out but you will still get scammed.

You are right in this case, that forum you speak of is good, but I believe that here in bitcointalk it is superior when it comes to altcoins, because there are many users who are always looking for a way to detail each project and find out if it is worth it or not , here the issue of reputation is very taken into account, also you only have to take a look and only when in 2021 they were dealing with the issue of NFTs, very few projects were those that put ANN threads within the forum, the main reason was because in most of them ended up being ponzi schemes or scams in their entirety.
