I've seen sources that say it's over 50 million. The Chinese government are not very transparent about these sort of matters, so it isn't clear to what degree COVID is actually surging. It could be due to Omicron, it could be due to a different variant. We don't have enough information.

If there's any indication that this might be something the rest of the world needs to worry about, we'll receive that information in about a month when the outbreak spreads else where. If it truly is an already known variant, then nothing to worry about.

But the talks may shift again to China because it seems like they are turning thier heads to Taiwan after seeing the Ukraine-Russia war. This Ukraine destruction makes the Chinese realize the US will not be there for Taiwan as well. And this might just be in the news in the coming months when the Chinese ships surround Taiwan. And maybe the NATO army will also be on the borders of Ukraine on Poland probably.

regardless of what we'll get another issue then world are getting busy to talk about. Coronavirus is over unquestionably false, there are many countries still surviving and new variant could attack the world anytime. However, in my country there's single death record due to Covid in last 24 hours. We've to stay safe and keep following all the heath rules. It would be a perfect time to make a move towards Taiwan when the worlds eyes

Covid19 has been wiped away in some countries and the effectiveness is not longer been strong as we expected, this so called diseases omnicron you mentioned is known like coronavirus, because in the place I'm basing we haven't heard such kind of disease, so the disease is the kind of disease that affect a particular country not as powerful as coronavirus, and i don't know why china will be experiencing different illness

It's surprising to learn China is affected that much because they have zero tolerance to exposure to covid. Is the only country that rises up while the rest of the world is about to die. I believe China is making all these up to clog disrupting the supply chain.

Just because war is a trending subject now, it doesn't mean that Covid-19 has disappeared. War isn't a common reoccurrence, especially when it takes place in Europe, when was the last time we had a war within the Eurozone? I can testify to this since here in my place, the alert levels keeps on dropping and rising like a volatile altcoin's chart. If covid was over, there wouldn't have been anymore upside in cases and alert levels along with the restrictions. One thing I agreen on about your post though is about hunger which is really possible to hapoen considering the load of crap that's been happening around the world today.

              While we're at it, I just want to share that right now, I even worry about crypto currencies as well since if the economy really does goes through even more crap, I doubt that the people who are heavily invested on crypto would not make use of their holdings if their other assets are suffering. Mass adoption is increasing yes, but can we really trust that the money coming in would he able to hold this industry when the bug players start dumping and taking profits to save their other assets? Because, it quite obvious that Covid is still around the corner. And if care is not taken, this omicron variant  might make the world witness another Lockdown, which will be very bad. As this point of time, I think the Government have to work on hand with the people to eliminate the virus.

Well, vaccines aren't capable of eradicating the virus from transmitting, however, I also believe that the vaccination programs weren't efficient. The Western world was the first to receive vaccines, leaving 3rd world countries without, and then proceed to be surprised that the Omicron variant stemmed from Botswana.
