I'm having a funny issue with my rig, every time turn on the rig it will load hiveOS list the graphic cards like it wants to start mining but will shut down and reboot itself and start working normal, single shut down before mining starts what's causing this?

I didn’t understand how many seconds does the mining farm reboot after turning it on?
I would try to turn on the mining farm with only 1 video card, because it looks like a problem with the power supply. But it can be any inconspicuous thing that is not immediately visible. Check the cables and pins on the motherboard

I would have suspected the PSU as well but if it starts reliably the second time it looks more
like a software issue. I'm not a HiveOS user but it seems like it might be installing an update
that requires a reboot, similar to what Windows does.

I don't think it's a PSU problem, but if this "problem" is annoying you:

Download and reinstall Hive OS
Make sure to install on a SSD or HDD (better to avoid USB Stick)
Unplug and plug everything again, risers, psu cables etc
Set your motherboard to stock again

This steps above you can eliminate a lot of issues

But honestly, with Hive OS you'll probably need to restart once or twice a month for cleaning dust or any little issue, I don't think it's worth to dig into this
If your system is running 24/7, don't worry

So it double boots and then works for hours.

This is a non issue.

I have seen identical rigs do that and not do that.

but the double boot means you lose 20-40 seconds which is pretty much not an issue.

Wait a second 🤔 I've seen this issue before with my rigs, it happened because I switch the hiveOS HDD that was working fine on a AMD Mobo and using the same HDD on intel MOBO, this stopped when I reinstall hiveOS, it's definitely the hiveOS I'm sure of it.

To rule out problems with Hive OS, I would format the hard drive and install the latest version of this OS. It's less than 10 minutes.

A single reboot every time you turn on your mining rig shouldn't bother you at all if I were you I will leave the rig like that, something must have adjusted in the hive OS that's causing this reboot but it's not a big problem at all.
